He had a great game today. He has good poise and instincts. He is definitely starter material. DeRozan looks like he's struggling to adjust at SF and playing more off the ball but Derrick White is a more natural pg and the offense seems to flow better and alleviate more pressure off DeRozan. DeRozan now has to find a way to pick his spots better around White.

he looked solid, but I'm calling fools gold tbh. I think we can work on him though which is more than I can say about most of the roster at this point. Just glad that he's around at all, it makes the season slightly less unwatchable.

Actually, he was killing it in Austin before his injury. He looked like a man amongst boys there so he might be a sleeper that turns into a real good player.

I'm glad he's finally getting his shot and that he's healthy. I've been a big supporter since watching him in Austin and know that he'll end up being a Spurs fan favorite eventually.
Maybe even a Spurs jersey retiree someday.

As much as I like White, and I’m really sold on him playing solid minutes, he is badly needed in the 2nd unit like Manu to get the 2nd unit going. When Gay comes back, do we move Demar back to combo guard? Maybe close with White, Demar, Davis (to space out better than Dante), Gay and LMA?
If this is the White we're gonna get, then he should def be a starter. He makes everything a lot easier for LA, and that's gonna boost LA's confidence as well. If Gay comes back, along with this version of White, DD might actually be able to rest.

Always liked his game a lot of hate when we drafted him I won’t name names. But he sold me in G League he showed me he has good handles can shoot and play defense the biggest thing is that he is a pure PG. He has great court vision and makes guys around him better. He loves setting big man up for easy dunks “Brimah”
