Not to be macabre, but I had Betty White before him in my 2017 Death Pool. I'd be more sad if Betty White had died, but Stan was so full of life every time you saw him, I thought he'd hit centennial at least.

Like not watching Marvel movies or something? I'm not sure I've watched any this decade besides maybe some of the Iron Man stuff cos RD Jr. And I haven't watched the TV series either. But I don't have a problem with them. They're just a little light for my taste.

Yup. Stan's impact wont be just the characters he created, but how relatable he made his characters. I got into comics like lots of 90s kids did and Spiderman was easily my favorite character also. The character is much easier to read to compared to other books like the Avengers and their characters at that same time.
RIP Stan Lee, his contribution to the industry will never be forgotten.
Disney is the reason Marvel is such a massive brand now.
