I'm not a player fan, I'm a Spurs fan. But being a Spurs fan doesn't mean you agree with every decision the front office makes. And a lot of posters have criticized valid points. I think 90% of the forum said our defense will be trash cause we don't have no perimeter defenders left.

You should be glad you werent spurs fans in the 80's and early 90's when we would loose in the playoffs or not even make them, you wouldnt last a day. I’m a Spurs fan all the way, but I still love watching Kawhi play. From a fan perspective he seems like a super nice guy. I live in Minnesota and he’s always been great with autographing items after his shoot around pregame. That doesn’t always happen. Manu is best though. Most fan friendly high profile athlete I’ve ever seen.
This roster is jumbled. The front office has maintained loyalty over the years better than any other organization, but they ultimately have held on too long to guys like Parker, Mills, and Gasol. Pop being at the latter end of his coaching career doesn’t help either. The Clippers front office has been solid in that regard. Even what seemed to be a bad deal for the injury riddled CP3 looks decent with Harrell playing so well.
As is the times now... a lot of fans here are liberal fans with little morals... but in all truth in honesty it’s fandom. Is there any morals with cheering for a team... it’s actually a waste of time or past time. A luxury we can expend to have cause we don’t have to work all the time and have extra time and money to burn. Really insignificant. If we were all being honest with ourselves it’d be more beneficial to use our times more wisely and better ourselves or help ppl on some real ish but it is what it is. Everyone needs a distraction every once in awhile. But in a “real fans” defense, it’s good practice to be faithful in a team and loyal and support that team... good for disciplining oneself etc. but as some apt here to realize, it’s best to not to take things here too seriously. If you look at everything like it’s a joke it’s much more enjoyable here tbh. Kind of feel sad if people are actually feeling like this in real life and it’s not some joke or troll job tho lol
I am really enjoying this season because I have accepted reality.
I was a huge Kawhi fan. I really appreciated that he appeared to have a lot of Timmy's traits and also resembled his greatness.
Then Kawhi quit on the team. No other truthful way to put it - he quit period.
Kawhi resembled Timmy - but the cream rises to the top. Greatness transcends fads, greatness endures, greatness comes about through years of sacrifice and dedication.
To even mention Kawhi in the same post as Timmy is nauseating and I am holding my gut while I type this because I want to finish typing this while realizing that putting Kawhi and Timmy in the same post is just downright disgusting.
Kawhi is gone. He is dead to me. He can go himself. I don't care if he succeeds or fails - he is not a Spur. Should he turn out great - good for him. Should he blow out his quad this season and use crutches the rest of his life so be it.
Kawhi quit. Kawhi is not a Spur anymore and the Spurs will go on untainted. Talk all the crap you want about any player on the roster - but they have one thing over Kawhi that Kawhi will never ever have - guts.
They are not quitters and if they don't have his talent - at least they are not pussy quitters and treasonous cowards.
Bury this quitter and wash his name from your mouth or just go and enlist as a Raptors fan. When he quits on them - go and sign up as a Lakers fan. Why are you still here if you want to trash the Spurs and support the guy who betrayed the Spurs organization? The Spurs fanbase?
