i never bragged about any such thing. i was part of a boxing squad when i was 27, big deal... we did what most do while training in boxing. again, big deal... you making it out to be anything more is your own insecurities and whatnot. like i said, the make believe world you live in seems entertaining but i prefer reality tbh.

context. wtf are you going on about for real though? i brought it up when and in what context? i don't go out of my way to bring up that i was ever part of a boxing squad when i never competed and didn't consider myself a "boxer". i have mentioned it, yes, but bringing it up to just bring it up isn't something i do. so context matters pav and i do want to know what exactly your pointing to.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Crusher of Sacred Cows

With its silly swipes at AOC, the American political establishment is once again

revealing its blindness to its own unpopularity

The average American politician would lose at checkers to a zoo gorilla.

They’re usually in office for one reason: someone with money sent them there, often to vote yes on a key appropriation bill or two. On the other 364 days of the year, their job is to shut their yaps and approximate gravitas anytime they’re in range of C-SPAN cameras.

But the subject elected officials have the most trouble staying away from is each other.

    the ongoing
    freakout over newcomer Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

she won in spite of the party and big donors, not because of them.

All of AOC’s supporters sent her to Washington precisely to make noise. There isn’t a cabal of key donors standing behind her,

She is there to be a pain in the ass, and it’s working.

Virtually the entire spectrum of Washington officialdom has responded to her with horror and anguish.

The Beltway press mostly can’t stand her.

A common theme is that, as a self-proclaimed socialist, she should be roaming the halls of Rayburn and Cannon in rags or a barrel.

her self-generated popularity and large social media presence means she doesn’t need to ask anyone’s permission to say anything.

she almost certainly gains popularity every time one of those nitwits takes a swipe at her

Which brings us to elected Democrats, who if anything have been most demonstrative in their AOC freakout.

some of whom felt she jumped the line in an attempt to get a Ways and Means committee assignment.

“It totally pissed off everyone,” one senior House Democrat
said about the Ways and Means campaign.

“You don’t get picked for committees by who your grass-roots [supporters] are.”

these waxen functionaries of the political class

still don’t understand that their disapproval more often than not counts as an endorsement to most voters.

How many Democrats, do you think, heard that and immediately thought the opposite – that

if Joe Lieberman disapproves, Ocasio-Cortez must be on the right track? Sixty percent? Seventy?

her mere presence is unmasking many, if not most, of the worst and most tired Shibboleths of the capital.

she’s laying bare the long-concealed fact that many of their core policies are wildly unpopular,

and would be overturned in a heartbeat if we could somehow put them all to direct national referendum.

with these swipes on Ocasio-Cortez, the people defending those ideas don’t realize how powerful a stimulant for change is their own negative attention.

If they were smart, they’d ignore her.

Then again, if politicians were smart, they’d also already be representing people, not donors.

And they wouldn’t have this problem.

MT sharing my and many others' position that the corrupt, d political class pays no attention to voters after elections, and does precisely what BigDonor paid for.

Fox News anchors lose their minds after channel's own poll finds people want to tax the rich

Fox News is obsessed with Rep. Ocasio-Cortez,

and so they’ve been attempting to attack her 70 percent marginal tax rate

on households making more than $10 million

by equating it to Venezuelan socialism.

two blond mouthpieces twiddle their pens in their hands in bewilderment as they read the results of a

Fox News poll showing that there is an overwhelming amount of support for raising taxes on the rich.

    Tax the richFox Anchor:

“There is, what seems to be a movement against capitalism in this country.

This is a piece in Politico, just published, ‘Soak the Rich,

    Americans say go for it.’

this latest Fox News poll on the issue.

Whether Americans support raising taxes on the wealthy on incomes over 10 million bucks.

Those that are in favor of that?

    70 percent, Charles.

Over a million dollars in income, 65 percent are in favor of raising taxes.”

Republicans Blast Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Sour Expression During State of the Union Address

WASHINGTON —Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s facial expression during the State of the Union address came under continued attack from Republicans on Thursday, with the

former House Speaker John Boehner joining the chorus of disapproval.

“When I saw her with that pained expression on her face, I couldn’t believe my eyes,” Boehner said.

“It was like nothing I had ever seen before in my life.”

The former Speaker said that Ocasio-Cortez broke his “No. 1 rule” of reacting to a State of the Union speech:

“No matter what the President is saying, be sure to look cheerful and upbeat at all times.”

“I didn’t always agree with what President Obama had to say over the years, but I always kept a smile on my face,”

    he said.

“I think if the congresswoman went back and looked at video of me and my fellow-Republicans during the Obama speeches,

she could learn a lot about maintaining a non-stop happy facial expression.”

Boehner said that he considered Ocasio-Cortez’s facial expressions “a rookie mistake” and offered her a piece of helpful advice.

“Darlin’, take it from old man Boehner—you can catch more bees with honey than with vinegar,” he chuckled.
