guessing ceiling is like Steve Kerr?
Realistically How much can Forbes improve until the end of his prime?
guessing ceiling is like Steve Kerr?
Curry with a slower release so it'll get blocked more.
True, every time his gets packed I LOL. He's like a kid in the big leagues.
I used to think he could be a Chauncey Bullups type but he doesn't use his frame like Chauncey did, or have the leadership/toughness or PG abilities. He's just a streak shooter that plays shorter than he lists (or is just shorter than he lists) and can't defend.
He is an adult, can't grow anymore. Euroleague in two years.
Kerr could run offense like a true backup PG (look at the videos from Bulls playoffs or 2003 Spurs playoffs against Dallas). He was also a much faster release shooter so he didn't get embarrassed out there getting his shot sent into the 3rd row like Forbes does every other game or so.

And without the passing ability.
Or the finishing ability.
Or the defense.
Or the world class handles.
Or without the creativity on the court.
Or without the swagger and confidence.
Or without pretty much anything other than chucking.
But, yeah, Eddie House without the swagger and even worse defense.
Curry plays defense? That's news to me.
He’s not a starter. I thought he was. But he doesn’t have the toughness to go against other starters. I’d think if LW4 can consistently hit shots, he can replace him, with Moore in place of Cunningham.
Can we trade him! He plays no defense!
Fatty Mills without the towel waiving
He's not really a plus defender, but he holds his own for his size. Used to average around 2 steals a game, too.
Teams have figured out that Bryn is vulnerable and he is just like a black hole on defense...everything goes through him.
Also not as clutch as Eddie House. Also flatter jumpshot, which gets blocked more as well. Also lacking the championship experience House had (Celtics, Heat, etc)
He doesn't hold his own, let's be honest here. He plays with some effort etc... but he's a triple negative on defense. end of story.
Correct, all teams know to attack either Forbes, Mills or Cunningham in isos, PnR or switches.
LW is a world class athlete in his prime. He should get all the minutes to develop from these low ceiling scrubs.. He's a true lottery talent just as Kawhi was before, when Kawhi was given all the development opportunity in the world here.
He's just another chucker really. Some nights he will hit shots and look good. Most he will have 10 points at best - in a league that isn't allowed to play defense at that - and give up 25+ if you give him minutes.
White is ok, Beli would be ok if he didn't feel like he has to carry the team, just play SG and get fed passes out of penetration. DeMar is good, again if he didn't have to carry as much. LMA would be awesome if he could get his touches consistently. Bertans would be decent as a starting SF who can camp it out in the corner/wing and just shoot jumpers.
Mills, Forbes and Cunningham have no place on a modern NBA roster.
That's also my problem with Forbes. On a good night, what, he gets you 15 points? Real NBA quality streak shooters can get 25+ when hot (JR Smith, Korver, etc). This dude isn't even an above average NBA player at what he does best. And the rest of what he does wasn't even star quality in the NCAA.
Jimmer would be a better shooter/scorer than Forbes.
He's alright just against other 2nd unit, but not a starter. I'd really think we improve if Pops insert LW4 and Moore, in place of Forbes and Cunningham.
