So much home cooking for the refs today, but you just know they'll side with New Cheatland even in Pittsburgh today at some point.
At home against TB and on the road against the weakest of the NFC East teams is a generous schedule that the league gave them. But a mediocre team like the Cowboys could lose them both.

And a mediocre team like the Viqueens could easily lose to Chicago in week 17 or even at Detroit next week and let a team like Philly in the wild card.
Kyle Van Noy gets away with offsides on the blitz, blatant no call
Any coordinator who calls a run on 2nd and 20 should be shot.
Pittsburgh's secondary is approaching Tampa Bay level bads
This Nick Mullens is one of the best QBs in the league. I'd rank him top 15, I know the Niners have to pick Garoppolo because of the contract, but Mullens definitely has earned a starting job next year with another team. What an unlikely star.
They have a starting back-up QB along with a solid receivers core and the best defense in the league. Calling them mediocre is misleading if not silly.
I'd prefer non-division foes over division foes who play for pride if nothing else; but at sucky Detroit and at home against Chicago possibly playing for nothing is very doable.
Edelman has been channeling his inner Wes Welker with the drops this season.
Nick Mullens stole all of Aaron Rodgers' talents, I guess.
"Best defense in the league" sir, this is 2018, not 2017
This year's they're not even close to the best defensive team in their own division they're a distant 2nd, though
Why the is Burkhead even in on a play when you have Sony Michel to run and James White on 3rd down
J.C. Jackson will be an elite corner if New England's incompetent DB coach teaches him to turn around and look back for the ball.
I'm convinced Belichick got bored at some point in the last 2-3 and decided that he wanted to make it harder on himself by using as many white skill position players as possible.
If they somehow win a superbowl with this team I see him upping the ante by trying to win with white corners.
Bears have a comparable defense. If you think there's a chasm.....
Vikings defense has been lit up all season long except for against the bottom barrel teams of the league.
I'm pretty sure Alabama would do a better job getting pressure against NFL teams than New England does.
Steelers going with " the running game" mode
if that pass interference call were for New England and not against them everyone on this website would be losing his .
were you the one who said you'd easily rather have Flowers than Chandler Jones?
that was a dumb call
but so was the no TD for Jesse James
No, that wasn't me.
I'd take Chandler Jones straight up (but it's not as much of a difference as you're pretending it is), but I'd much rather have Flowers @ his current $2mm cap hit vs. Chandler Jones at his current $15.5mm cap hit.
Chandler Jones is a stat padder on a ty team, he isn't a Khalil Mack-level stud pass rusher who teams plan their entire offense around.
Please Jerry Jones, trade Lawrence for Nick Mullens and the 49ers 2019 1st rounder
The no TD call was a by the book call, it's a stupid rule but it was called correctly.
