Mother er i had predicted the RRT at 2-6 with a healthy Derrick White,2 months ago.
So you can also post that take as well. Then shove it up your ass.
Clips win. Spurs currently stuck at 8th
Spurs could finish 41-41 and still have a strong chance to sneak in unfortunately.
So stuck at 8th and a chance to play GSW again for a 1st round sweep?
It’s pathetic of Spurs but the Clips are NOT tanking.. people keep saying this but they are not. Montrezl Harrell was on ESPN all star weekend and said the leaders of the team went to the front office and they ultimately decided to try to make the playoffs.
Yeah,i watched the Dallas game last night and there is no ing way the Clippers are tanking with the way they were playing defense on Doncic and even with the way Doc was calling TO's every time the Mavs were going on a run.He coached the out of last night's game.
I dunno what happens with their draft pick next year,if they lose the playoffs this year and keep their pick, but they apparently are making a run for the playoffs.
With someone like Ballmer as the owner I’m sure it was an easy decision for him to listen to the players and coaches because I’m sure he wouldn’t mind paying a little extra to makeup for that pick by going over the tax line.
Fair point. Also, maybe Jerry West wants to see Pelinka and Lebron fail.
You don't give the reins of the franchise to Pelinka and Magic when the logo is available.
In all actuallity, I believe that the Kings would make for a better match-up series against the Worriers if they were to end up at the 8 spot. I heard that after a recent game against the Kings, one of the Worriers commented about a sense of respect they have for the young Kings. They are athletic, hungry, with chips on their shoulders, and they are ballin' right now, so I can see this team give the Worriers a run for their money! It may not go to seven, but I believe that the Kings will make it a tough challenge in the first round against them, verses if the Spurs were to play them. But the race for eight will be an interesting finish! Hoping that the Spurs can finish higher that eight, perhaps 7 or 6th seed, if possible (not holding my breath on that though), but time, along with wins & losses will tell. GSG!!!
It'd be cool if you could trade your playoff spot for like a first round pick (or pick swap). Obviously teams wouldn't do this unless they were really injury depleted or disfunctional. The Spurs are borderline disfunctional and don't need to get swept again but could try to improve their spot compe ion by pushing for 7 or not giving the eighth seed away for free
Looking at the schedules for the Kings, Clippers, Lakers, Jazz, and the Spurs I’m thinking they will end up at the 7 seed.
Hopefully they can win at least one or two games in the first round.
Spurs will end up as 7th seed I guess..
Awesome,if that's the case we get to see the matchup we've all been waiting for...
Bryn Forbes VS Isaiah Thomas!
Clippers should keep sliding, tbh. Kings and Lakers are the rivals. At this point holding on to that 7th seed seems like the best scenario.
kings are in OT against the bucks.
Clippers lost; Kings about to lose in OT, maybe.
Nuggets for the time period are #1 seed after Warriors loss tonight.
Another year another ass beating by Golden State
The Warriors figured we're probably gonna be the 7th seed and lost 4 of their last 6 to be able to drop to 2 and meet us in the first round.
I mean, can you blame them? Friendly atmosphere, easy series, minuscule chance of injury,Pop giving a lecture on the historic significance of Australian Aboriginals in the current political structure of Australia instead of coaching...
Makes sense!
Let Sacto or the Clips get their behind kicked. Now that i think about it, it would be even worse if we suffer the same fate against Denver which i predict we will. Bottom line, playoffs be damned.
I would rather watch draft night with the spurs with a lottery pick than the spurs as the 7th or 8th seed. also watching lottery night will be more intersting with the Spurs in there. Building through the draft is the Spurs best shot at getting top talent.
