I think the Rudy hate comes from when Rudy called him an idiot after Skip made a comment about LeBron being lucky because Gordon Hayward went down. Rudy took offense to the tweet because it was tweeted seconds or minutes after the injury.

He’s a fool if he can’t see Rudy’s 100% every night and practically unstoppable when healthy, hitting much needed 3’s at 50%. I think Rudy (and recently Davis) is the X factor tbh because he brings so much, shooting, rebounding and defense

I agree, but unfortunately nba personalities still see Rudy Gay as that selfish no defense playing chuckster he once was he was younger. They don't see the spurs enough to see his changed game.

Funny you mentioned this I thought it was derozan who called him out but evidently both players had the same reactions against Skip. No wonder he doesn’t rep us as strongly as during the Big Three era. He’s got a bone against popovich and these two players, and he also said Aldridge is a Trail Blazer and not a real Spur.

He does like Murray a whole lot and still gives props to Mills at times on his show.
