Deflecting as per usual. Any comments on the shutdown?

While we did have our choking moments, refs played a key role in this game and the loss. Seeing the questionable plays again, Gay never fouled JJR on the 4 point play and Derozan was clearly fouled on his last play.

The sad thing is we have the talent to win these games. I don’t know why we lose these games. Sixers without Butler Bulls without Lauri Dunn and Portis, Clippers without Galinari and Lou and some more I’m forgetting.

Maybe DeRozan wasn't in the game because he head was shot due to getting blocked.

Again, biggest loss about this game is such a fine defensive performance by LMA being wasted. Best big-man defense I've seen since Splitter on Dirk in 2014.
No I doubt it was because of that because he has missed game winners and come back to hit the game winner in OT this season. For example he did that in the Lakers game.

The person I trust the most with the ball at the end of the game is Derrick white.

Three Things I Hate About This Team:

    1. DeMar Derozan picking up his dribble and leaving his feet to pass.

    2. Patty Mills' and his pull-up threes with like 18 seconds left on the shot clock.

    3. The lack of a defensive wing defender.

Pretty sad that the roster is mostly filled with players who Pop would have roasted a decade ago. Either the players have no defensive skill or have the fragile ego of Richard Jefferson. Hopefully DJ and Lonnie are more hungry when they return next season.

Best thing about this loss is that it’s more likely we make a trade. Had we gotten this win Pop thinks everything is just fine.

Tbh who gives a ? No one's gonna remember. The only thing they'll remember is that the Spurs choked like huge es.
That’s pretty much what the he said by saying the defensive performance was “wasted”.

They won't make a trade regardless.

Lol at a trade happening. People on here already think the team has enough depth.

Both of our "stars" are choking gots tbh. Pop also has a history of choking tendencies tbh.

Exactly. I know the drop-off from the big 3 to LMA/DDR is expected, but holy we have the players now that Spurs fans loved ting on during the Duncan era.

Derozan is a great athlete, but his basketball IQ isn't great. A shame.

Honestly not a big deal that DeRozan wasn't on the floor when the options were reasonable. Talking heads just need something to chirp about. Were it me, I'd have had Derozan over Mills though. Mills with a few seconds maybe. But with 1.1 he's not getting a three off unless there's a defensive breakdown that gets him wide open. Pop should know that; but he's too busy ting his pants on the sideline, honestly.
