Why are three assets and four draft picks too much for a young hall of famer? The Lakers would be fools to pass if that offer is on the table.
If there is one virtually hard and fast rule of NBA trades, it's whoever gets the best player wins the deal. And Davis for three nobodies and four almost certain late firsts is a pretty enormous disparity. If you can get a player like Davis you do everything you can. I can't believe Laker fans are balking at trading three dimes and four nickels for a dollar.
Steve Nash trade burned us real bad yo. 2 1sts and 2 2nds ed us up in the end.
You can call them assets all you want idgaf what you think. Im not eating a bad contract and four picks?! How do you know if the picks will be bad? Can't trade consecutive picks. So four picks has us giving a first rounder long after a contract for Davis or LeBron dat...
You just know Magic is going to accept that . Maybe get one, max two first rounders out of there, but judging from his past tweets I’m certain he’s going to enjoy getting ed raw by Demps.
Yeah, I agree with Killa here. That’s over the top considering they have to also swallow a bad contract. AD and Lebron with $20 million to play isn’t going to move the needle much for them. Best move is keep the young core, who has tremendous value when they’re playing with a healthy LU and go after the FA in 2019.
AD Free agency is a season away. Be patient.
4 1sts
6 players
Taking on Solomon Hill's contract too?

Niccas here are dumb
Can I get in a fantasy league with you scros
...and furthermore, we didn't get THAT kind of package for Shaq! No deal son.![]()
Odom is way better than anyone New Orleans would be getting in that deal.
This coming from someone who said Tobias Harris has no All Star potential or that D’Angelo is a bust. ZzzZzz
And you want to act like they're some great young core teams should be falling all over themselves to trade for. They're not a bunch of 19 year olds and yet they're still like a .300 core without LeBron. I don't know what you see in any of them. With James + Davis you'll have vets falling all over themselves this summer to sign cheap and you'll have the most attractive midlevel exception in the league too. You're talking the best and most versatile bigman in years, not giving up a bunch of picks for an overrated system player like Deron Williams or a one dimensional player like Melo. That trade would be highway robbery in the Lakers favor.
He's not an allstar dumbass
I said potential, smh. You can’t even read. Drink some coffee my friend, you have a lot of pent-up anger in you. Sheesh.
He's 26, he's as good as he's going to get and he's not an allstar.
Also Solomon Hill will be a $13 million expiring for 2019-20, so that would a great trade asset to land another vet for the James+Davis core next year. I don't know how the Lakers could turn that deal down unless they have some kind of under the table agreement with Leonard or Durant.
Laker fans are delusional if you guys honestly think that proposed deal is favorable for the Pelicans. The Lakers have nothing but garbage to offer.
But it's seven pieces of garbage
Seven pieces

not giving up 4 first and all three of Kuzma/Ingram/Zo AND eating a contract.
that is just ridiculous no player has been worth that much.
Without bron they have also had no Kuzma Rondo or Lonzo so what their record wiithout Lebron is irrelevant.
Im all for the trade but not for being trade raped.
KCP, Ingram/Kuzma, Lonzo and four firsts sure I would consider that. All 4 plus taking on a contract plus 4 firsts? No deal. Let Lebron and Klutch convince someone else to join forces with bron.
I am not in the DPG mindset oh if we dont get davis we have failed. you move on. he is a great player like a rich man's Pau Gasol but I still wont kill my cap, give up that many picks etc.
And not only does 4 picks cost you even if those picks wont be high picks, it also limits your abilty to trade for 8 years too since you cant trade consecutive picks.
it makes no sense.
I would not do it.
They want 4 first then we need some of those players out of the deal ...
It makes no sense to trade four late picks? Oh no you'll lose out on four Devean Georges.
Meh, he should be an All Star this year with splits of 50/40/90 while helping the Clippers to overachieve this season. You have a guy like Kyle Lowry making the cut, but I digress.
if it's seven pieces of garbage why does Pelicans want it?
IF they feel they can draft and develop better take the four picks plus one young player and the cap fillers to make it work.
We will keep our "crap".
I am good with that.
