That's disappointing hearing NOLA is going to let Davis finish the season. They should have told him to go home and wait for a trade in the summer. I don't see the upside in having him win you games and screw up draft positioning when he says he's gone anyways.

It sounds like the league basically stepped in and made them reactivate Davis to save face. You know, since that's the real problem here, not Davis quitting on his team while under contract while Magic colludes with him and his agent.

Well playing Davis is a bit risky if he suffers a torn ACL or season ending injury it will drastically hurt his trade value. Pelicans were to stubborn to move him at the deadline so that's their problem. They know he wants to be traded and will play him to save face but I hope he stays healthy.

I don’t think the Pelicans had much of a choice. The league pressured them even though he’s gonna get his ass booed at home games. I enjoyed watching them without him on the floor.

That's bull . The Pelicans should be able to do what's best for them, not prop up some player who is going to hurt them every time he steps on the floor and who isn't part of their plan going forward. With his injury history I would tell Silver to go himself. He'd complain they're tanking but getting maximum value for Davis is the most important thing they can do now and if he gets hurt they're ed even worse.
