Inside Texas Q&A: (these are cliffs)
Q: Brockermeyer and Byrd timelines:
A: Brockermeyer probably next spring. Byrd has no timeline.
Q: Thoughts on Ja’Tavion Sanders being a 4i:
A: Not likely. Probably a b-backer.
Q: Current % on Byrd & Wheaton with Coach Samples being gone:
A: 35% on Byrd, 25% on Wheaton. IT thinks UT leads with Byrd. Cited his relationship with JQJ as being a key factor.
Q: Is Wheaton’s recruitment going to be difficult?
A: Nahlin felt UT still leads. Said it was hard to tell with Wheaton but a good season will keep UT among his favs.
Q: chances on landing Bruce Foster and Donovan Jackson
A: good of Foster as long as we recruit him for T&F. Felt Jackson was Stanford bound.
Q: Chances flipping LaTrell McCutchin
A: not good. Not worth the headache
Q: Best Mac an Rover options for 2021
A: Harris at rover, Trevion Sneed at Mac. Not a lot of options at LB in ‘21 class.
Q: Is Texas recruiting Bryce Foster for track an field.
A: T&F coaches hadn’t contacted him last they checked. He’s been assured he can throw by the football coaches. “They need to.” (recruit him for T&F)
Been watching the LSU games from last year, I truly am not that worried. Wr drop catchable balls (#1), off. line doesnt look that great, Devin white was their eraser (is divinity the replacement if so does he equate), need to get a hat on Delpit-every play, their d-line is big and slow, Dee anderson at wr is good along with T. Marshall.. burrow will/can run effectively need to game plan for that, #45 is not a replacement for Chaisson-so hard to gauge how big of a difference that will make but all in all not a big worry
Thats probably super fancy for Mississippi standards lol “ ters full”...
QUESTION OF THE DAY
In your opinion, which former Texas player did not receive a lot of hype/had a quieter career, but was a guy that you always enjoyed watching?
For me it was Brian Robison, John Hagy, Bret Hagar, and Rod Babers.
Sergio Kindle was an absolute beast
Anthony Wheeler of recent times. I remember thinking this guy is built like an NFL linebacker coming out of high school. He was always a serviceable linebacker, wish I could watch him play on Sundays.
Fozzy Whittaker & Cody Johnson. Maybe Chris Ogbonaya but not sure he qualifies for quiet career.
QB Shane Buechele named a captain for SMU.
Hope he kills it.
Inside Texas commented on 2021 DE Landon Jackson of Texarkana Pleasant Grove last night.
They said he was definitely leaning Texas earlier in the year until Alabama and A&M started heavily pursuing his teammate, 2021 DT Marcus Burris.
However, they feel A&M pushed a little too hard once they took the lead and now he's back to slightly favoring Texas with Coach Orlando heading up his recruitment.

Bijan picked Texas in part because tOSU pushed too hard. Now we hear that Landon Jackson is down on aggsy because they push too hard. Tom is really a smart dude, he is making good decisions with how he is running the program. I really like it.
Hopefully Jackson and Burris aren't a package deal because Burris is aggy bound IMO.
Did they give the impression that they'll both end up at the same school or go each his own path? Because I don't think Burris is coming to Texas. Aggy bound.
The only real info I've seen on that so far is Burris prefers College Station because it's reminds him of the smaller town atmosphere.
Texas released a statement that TE Cade Brewer sustained a concussion in Tuesday's practice.
