Sure would like to hold onto him I remember everyone was high on him when he committed but seems that Juwan Mitc took his spot. He had a nice game against Rice.
As much as we are hurting at linebacker, strange he is leaving. Makes me believe he was just a bad evaluation by the staff, or at best a total reach. Either way, it's another spot we need to add to. Sure would like to get one of those 5'star guys or flip someone. Just doesn't feel like there is much out there in the mold of a inside linebacker.
Hopefully we can find a late developing diamond after the season.
I do think that Van Fillinger might be a pretty good inside linebacker like Roach was last year.

S Jerrin Thompson of Lufkin will officially visit UT this weekend, according to Inside Texas.
Degabriel Floyd will hopefully be back january
Could anyone tell me where Caden Sterns has been?
Is he knee not allowing him to use his instincts, is he thinking too much, what is the deal?
I did see him make one good downfield tackle, but big plays in the open... not so much.
Seems like thinking too much...
Possiabilty losing a LB opens up a spot for newest RB commitment. Question is who leaves to open up spots for some LBS?
That's impressive. The Rice game looked 2/3rds empty despite almost being a de facto home game.
Not to mention BJ Foster has been hurt. Those two guys were arguably 2 of our top 4 returning starters.
2022 RB Jamarion Miller of Tyler Lee will be in Austin this weekend.
He's the younger brother of former UT commitment, WR Damion Miller who is now at Tyler J.C.

Looks like Quay Davis is visiting the a&m game this weekend. Anything to see here?
I hope you're right. Heck, considering we've lost five in a row IN AUSTIN to those guys, I'd take a one-point win pretty readily.
Just illustrates how much struggle this program has had. Sure, Ok St often has a good team. But Texas should never lose that many in a row on its own turf to anyone.
Granted, as a child, I got in on the early stages of a near ten-year home win streak. We didn't lose any home game from about '67 to '76.
Interesting I saw that former UT commit Damion Miller is on the market after hitting JuCo wonder if we consider having him back for a 2020 WR?
