TFloss, do you know why they don't provide video of the weekly player interviews? Other programs do but Texas doesn't seem to do it.
congress is likely to step in as well with their own legislation. the likely endgame will be some version of the current olympic model.
still not sure how this will all sort out but one element of this legislation that seems to garnish a lot of attention is in regards to the idea of disproportion. in many ways, the athletes are already used to this meritocracy in regards to playing time. and they're not always handling it well as we see through the increased traffic in the transfer portal.
I honestly don't know.
It's probably their media department's preferred way of doing things.

They’re preoccupied for probably the next fifteen years.
obviously more important things to deal with but that's never stopped washington before; the proposed legislation is H.R. 1804, referred to as the Student-Athlete Equity Act. it's been referred to the Ways and Means Committee (it will probably die somewhere along the way, but there will be more to follow).
Burns is now at IMG after his transfer to Dallas Skyline was ruled ineligible.
Inside Texas mentioned Coach Orlando was in Florida last week to see Burns.
2021 OL Hayden Conner of Katy Taylor told The Football Brainiacs that he and 2021 QB Jalen Milroe are working hard on a Houston area recruit who is on the verge of committing.
Please be Foster...
I have no problem getting more money to the kids instead of some bureaucrat sitting in a plush NCAA office. But the equity part... Look at the pay scale for QBs in the NFL v. other positions... Then add in endorsements. There is very little equity in the free market. And NFL teams can just cut a player. This has so many ways of becoming a huge mess. The transfer portal was much more simple and seemed to right an obvious wrong (coach can leave, but I’m stuck). It has turned on its head. It will be interesting to see Oklahoma have a senior QB every year in the running for a Heisman. Maybe OU can work something with a Div II teams to groom QBs before they transfer. Learn how to run their offense, like a MS for a HS.
But whatever. I completely dropped the pros, I can do it with college.
Thats hilarious...
What the is going on in Dallas?
Most likely dead ponies on the highway.
