Now, that's a name I've not heard in a long time.
Per Inside Texas, 2021 OL Jacoby Jackson of Mansfield Summit is a name to know.
He's had a good amount of contact with Texas and he believes an offer will come eventually.

Surprise flip. LB Jaylan Ford of Lone Star flips from Utah to Texas.

IIRC (and maybe not), isn't that the kid who sounded like he thought he was all-world at one point; he was all slighted for not being treated like a five-star recruit? I know all the kids like the attention and all, but it just seemed like he was a little too ego-maniacal even at that. Hopefully, that's not the case.
nice reference, young jedi.
Did he sign today? Excuse my ignorance but I thought they could only sign early yesterday and then they would need to wait until NSD.
I was under the impression that recruits are able to sign until tomorrow during this period.
I believe it is through Friday. Of course, with each passing year and Texas not playing well, I seem to care less an less about recruiting..
I think you are correct. There is either a 48 or 72hr window starting from yesterday. Maybe i just convinced myself that's the case.
Yes, he's in.
Texas isn't allowed to mention him by name otherwise.
Per The Football Brainiacs, Texas has had a lot of communication recently with CB Ennis Rakestraw of Duncanville, and they asked him not to sign early.

Inside Texas saying RB Jahmyr Gibbs of Dalton, GA is a name to watch.
He has been committed to Georgia Tech since May, but he hasn't signed.

I dont follow this stuff as closely as I use to so I'm probably missing something but Rakestraw doesnt have a very impressive offer list; maybe he's undervalued
Potential preferred walk-on most likely. He does have some military school interested in him, so his grades must be in-line.
The report read as if he'd be a late-bloomer offer.
He was stout against WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba last weekend in the semifinal.
Didn’t Smith-Njigba score like 6 touchdowns in that game ? I heard the kid was unstoppable
