CB Joshua Eaton of Aldine MacArthur announced today he is transferring to Mater Dei for his senior season.
He followed that up by saying it's not an April Fools joke.

TFloss,
What's the dealio on the Jalin Conyers kid out of Gruver, TX (Panhandle). He picked up a Georgia offer. His film screams at you he is a take at TE or DE. IMO, I'd think he'd be Texas' true TE take for this class.

Made a prediction 2020 class list based off all the information that we have right now. My goal with this list is to update it every month and see what it morphs into.
- The RB and LB positions are impossible to predict right now.
April 2020 Class Prediction (committed in bold)
QB (1)
- Hudson Card
RB (2)
- Zachary Evans- He is about 40-49% coming to Texas, as Nahlin would say, “I take Texas chances over any school but I would pick the field over Texas.”
- Ty Jordan- My guess is that it will be an OOS RB but I am going with the safe pick here.
Keep an eye on: Jase McClellan, Kendall Milton, Bijan Robinson, MarShawn Lloyd
WR (3-4)
- Mookie Cooper- Decommitted but still looks like he can get back in the class.
- Troy Omeire- Texas took the lead after two UOV in March.
- Quentin Johnston- seems like the natural backup plan to Demas.
Removed from March: Dixon (doesn’t seem like a priority right now, could change if Cooper doesn’t come back), Hester (tougher battle than I expected before)
Keep an eye on: Johnny Wilson (can’t wait for that visit), Demond Demas (doesn’t feel like it will happen right now), Dixon (should be the backup plan to Cooper)
HB/TE (1)
- Jaden Hullaby
OL (5)
- Jaylen Garth
- Logan Parr
- Jake Majors
- Chad Lindberg
- Damieon George
Removed from March: Everyone stays but I wanted to take George out.
Keep an eye on: Ty’kiest Crawford, Nathan Anderson, Tosh Baker
DL (3-4)
- Vernon Broughton
- Princely Umanmielen
- Alfred Collins
Removed from March: Dorbah moved to LB.
Keep an eye on: Jalen Logan-Redding
LB (2)
- Prince Dorbah
- Brennon Scott (if Texas pushes then he’s coming, not sure about that yet)
Removed from March: White (leaning LSU), Keep an eye on: Justin Flowe,
DB (5-6)
- Chris Thompson
- Bryson Washington
- Xavion Alford
- Kelee Ringo- spent a week in town for Spring Break.
- Kitan Crawford- says that Texas is pushing the hardest.
Removed from March: Ryan Watts (leaning OU), Josh Eaton
Keep an eye on: Watts, Eaton, Ethan Pouncey, Jahari Rogers, Jalen Kimber, Lathan Ransom
Ath (1)
- Ja’Quinden Jackson (QB/LB)
Calculator: 298.05 (Good enough to be 3rd place in 2019, 12 pts higher than Texas's 2019 class)

Inside Texas reporting RB Ty Jordan of West Mesquite will be in Austin for the spring game.

Per The Football Brainiacs, CB Jahquez Robinson of Jacksonville, FL will be attending Texas' spring game.
What's interesting here is Alabama has their spring game on the same day, and Robinson is choosing to go to Texas instead as an Alabama commitment.
This could be one to watch if Alabama is fine with Robinson looking around while they pursue other targets.

I'm not really sure how to rank the CB's and what order Texas has them on their big board. Other than Ringo at the top, there is a lot of moving pieces going on for this class. There's a bunch of good CBs this year, but not many great ones in Texas, IMO.
It's pretty cut and dry with the Safeties with Chris Thompson at top along with Washington. I'm not as high on Alford as others are.
I know this is a pipedream and will be extremely difficult to pull off, but if the Horns somehow manage to pull off Ringo, Wilson, Evans, and Flowe then I dont give a crap how the rest of the class ends up. I know they need DL and OL, but those 4 I mentioned are champion makers. Believe me, I know it would be a monumental task to pull off all 4 (Ringo and Evan's being the more lokely) , but sometimes miracles do happen.
24/7 reporting 2021 CB Steven Ortiz of Goodyear, AZ has high interest in Texas and is one to watch for the next cycle.
