Don't know how you beat the Astros. You shut down their offense with 1 run through 4, but they got 3 different starters that can shut you out. Cole isn't even breaking a sweat

Extremely boring playoffs thus far. I supposed that's what happens when inferior teams go on good regular season runs while actual good teams get stuck on a year long funk.

Twins won 101 games just to get trashed in 3 games. Same with Rays.

Same thing happening on the NL side.

The NLDS has been good. 1-1 each series, no blowouts. This is a good game but Cole is so dominant he's made it boring since you know the Rays ain't hitting

Cole pitched a gem but the game is still up for grabs because the Astros blew opportunity after opportunity to blow the game open. They have the pitching to cruise to a championship but their offense just isn't what it was two years ago.

It's crazy how bad the Astros bullpen is. It was a major weakness during their championship and even last year, yet they've done nothing to address it.

Good by Harris. Osuna should never be brought in again unless the Astros find themselves with a 6+ run lead.

It wouldn't be fair for the rest of us if they had a lights out bullpen . Cole, Verlander, Greinke is the best starting trio since Smoltz, Glavine, Maddux.

The weakest link in the chain is Osuna. I can't stand the guy. I am still rueing that trade. As good as we have been with trades, this one was subpar.

Great win though. I hope we can find some money for Cole in the offseason.

    So, Greinke on Monday?

Rays-Astros. Houston dominates for 3 hours then the closer arrives and starts handing out bases.

ALDS is a snooze but setting up for worthwhile ALCS. Braves-Cards (best series) is getting lousy afternoon time slot

    Cards fixing to go down
Nats need to take out the Dodgers
And I guess the Astros need to take the yanks out and all will be good

Nats have a solid playoff rotation. I can see them going to the WS, tbh.

When the Dodgers aren't too busy choking they have the ability to put up runs like no one else.

And they almost choked the lead back on the next inning. Ex Dodger Kendrick bailed them out.

Don't know if you had to work, but that was a classic. An entertaining pitcher's duel since it was crafty pitching to contact instead of power pitching and then a 9th two out rally
