welp, got my answer. Asmus is just as stooped as Skosha.
Runs very hard to come by, we get Babe Trout to draw a walk in a 2-1 game top of 9th. Next dude singles to get Trout over the 3rd base.
So now, down 2-1 with men on 1st and 3rd. But super fast Trout on 3rd base for the tie.
Basically just hit the ball on the ground and don't get doubled up. Instead Ausmus is gonna stick with...….drumroll...….Pujols.

    Phucker strikes out.

Situation just screamed for a batter that can make f-ing contact and not be slow af getting down to 1st.
    Saw that game.

    Pooholes

Bit of hangover. They'll be fine, although they did get weaker in the BP.
    It's beyond a hangover.

Sale, the Red Sox main gold star is highly unreliable. No bullpen to speak of, etc.

Red Sox failed to re-invent themselves. The ers always do this. 2014 was the same .

Maybe they should throw an offer at Keuchel? Yeah, it's probably not a hangover. Sale's velo has reportedly dropped off by a bit. They have enough offensive firepower to compete, though. Still early. Last season, the Dodgers looked like absolute trash for like the first 40 games before hitting a stride.

Upside is that Yankees are up to a mediocre start as well. TB Leading the east comforts me because I know they won't be there long.

BTW, Boston is getting destroyed tonight too lol. 14 to 1 against Arizona. Ouch

Don't know what is up with them or the Cubs. I'll just chalk it up to "that's baseball" for now. Both teams will hit a gear a some point. In other news, Chris Davis is 1-39 in his last 39 ABs.

Cubbies did the classic Spurs style near-comeback there.

Mike Trout is the best athlete in the world. Jesus. You can't pitch to this man.

    A monster.

Too bad he's kind of wasting his talent on a no winning team.

Scioscia - Ausmus sticking with Matt Harvey and blowing a 6-0 lead. Still managed to win.

He better pray Trouts groin is okay if they want to sniff anywhere near .500

Hey, Bedrosian didn't blow it tonight at least. Angels looking pretty decent. Hopefully Trout gets back quickly. His historic seasons always get derailed by some fluke injury.

Red Sox are on pace to win about 40-45 games this season.

From champs to super chumps. Holy . When was the last time this happened?

Crazy. I can understand their pitching not being up to par, but their offensive struggles are surprising (Mookie Betts .214 WTF?). Only pet theory I have is that they didn't put in the work during the off-season and kind of basked in their le. Only explanation I got
