Not sure I've encountered a bigger collection of cry babies. Odd for a team with a neck tattoo'd bat throwing and throat slashing catcher.

    Cardinals Manager after the game:
"The (Braves) started some (expletive). We finished the (expletive)," Shildt said in the video. "And that's how we roll. No one (expletive) with us ever. Now, I don't give a (expletive) who we play. We're gonna (expletive) them up. We're gonna take it right to them the whole (expletive) way. We're gonna kick their (expletive) ass."

They were 4 outs from being eliminated 1-3. Big talk for a locker room rustled by a foam tomahawk

Not sure if you watched but Flaherty didn't react to anything Acuna is doing. How is he a cry baby for saying this?

Astros offense have looked like their old selves. Glasnow wasn't really making bad pitches, when the astros are right, they're an all time great contact hitting team. They'll double and single you to death.

Nats could be interesting in the WS. They have an elite 1/2 in Scherzer and Strassburg, and they have some clutch bats. Could see them pushing their opponent to 6/7. Cards have their devil luck so it's also tough to write them off too.

Gerritt Cole is looking like 2014 Madbum. An auto-win every time he takes the mound. Luckily for the Yanks, they won't see him till game 3. But Verlander still looms. I don't expect him to be that shaky again. Greinke is hit-or-miss, per par over his post-season career.

I just hope the Yanks don't get homer happy, because if they do, Cole and Verlander will eat them alive and we'll be looking at a bunch of boring 3-1, 4-1 games where Astros jump out and the Yanks flail away trying to play hero, like tonight. Post-season baseball is about meltdowns, back-and-forth leads, chokejobs with one out away. As much as I appreciate someone like Gerritt Cole's craft, their dominance can be boring to watch.

1st time Verlander has done post season on 3 days is what is reported. For that matter career? While I do not think he is infallible, (he obviously isn't) I would look for his next start to be very good+. Ditto Greinke. Usually after a rare stinker he comes back great. That re Domingo German may have cheated us out of an all time great series. Oh well Yanks are still very capable of winning.

    But...GTFO rookies. Astros gonna win.
