I will however state my opinion that you're engaging in lawyer speak and not taking a substantive interest in defending Biden's crime bill.
Do you think Biden is too tough on black crime? Was that not the message of that graphic?
I think it's the prevailing popular narrative among media and conservatives even before Biden ran that the crime bill was a detriment to the black population.
I'm open to learning the degree of veracity to that outlook. Thus far, I've never heard a counter that wasn't pretty bleeding heart / wishy washy.

Plus I didn't say I was a big proponent of it, I merely stated that crime did indeed went down sharply after it's passage.
Joe Biden is center-right, so his policy positions with regards to law and order shouldn't be surprising.

no its pretty gradated. though some people prefer the "compass" to the "spectrum" where its 2 dimensional. x axis being the traditional left/right and the y axis being authoritarian/libertarian. lenin would pretty clearly be on the top left quadrant (left + authoritarian)

no, i mean im pretty comfortable with the regular left right spectrum too. lenin is incredibly far left. a revolutionary communist who thought a "dictatorship of the proletariat" was a necessary transitional step to that end (an actual communist society). of course, the USSR never ended up getting past that "transitional step" and remained a dictatorship until its collapse.
but if you just want to use the traditional spectrum its very easy to place lenin far to the left, whereas on the political compass hed be near the top left corner
