Read two emails that were forwarded to me by one of my co-workers. The second email is from another one of our co-workers in response to the first.
I’ll give you an example of why I don’t trust Rush Limbaugh. I briefly listened to a portion of his program this afternoon at lunch. He was talking about bin Laden apparently having a diary. He said, and I’m paraphrasing as I may not have the exact quote right, “apparently bin Laden kept a diary where he was daily thinking about ways to bring down America, just like people in the Democrat party do”. If called on it, he would probably say he was joking or something, but it doesn’t sound like a joke when he says it and I don’t think a lot of the people who hear things like that think it’s a joke. That is a constant theme in his show, that everything is a conspiracy and the Democrats are evil sinister people trying to bring down the country. He never says that there is a difference in opinion about how things should be run. That’s just wrong, to me. That’s why I respect Ron Paul so much. He doesn’t get into the name calling and good vs. evil stuff. I might disagree with him, and I agree with him on a lot of what he says, but he sticks with his principals and says things that can be logically defended. When you are constantly trying to dredge up any and everything to paint the other side as being dishonest and malevolent, you lose credibility with me. By the way, did you happen to see the item where McCain was saying that torture had nothing to do with the capture of bin Laden and is “not who we are”. I have listed to Rush since 1992 so I feel like I know him, and can read in between the lines. He has always said that it takes six weeks of listening three hours every day to really “get him.” Guess you have never listened that much. Mark, my opinion is that liberalism has ruined this country and I am still convinced the president wants the economy to collapse. Guess that is Rush does not bother me as much as he does you.
When I was a little girl I could go out and play and mother would say be sure you are home in time for dinner. She did not have to worry about me being abducted or raped or anything like that. She worked when I was in elementary school so I would get home from school, get on my bicycle go back up to the elementary school, play sandlot baseball, etc. and be home in time for dinner.
Over the years, the liberals have given so many rights to criminals that now we are afraid to go out of our home. I remember when the Menendez brothers killed their parents. They shot the parents went outside reloaded their gun then went back in and shot them some more. The liberal jury let them off because as one lady said, “poor things they don’t have their mother any more”. Did not matter that the brothers killed their own mother.
Again, all of this is my opinion which fortunately I am still free to have. The liberals are trying to take conservative talk radio off the air and Cass Sunstein is writing regulations so fast it makes your head swim. Every regulation takes more of our freedoms away. Did you know you can walk anywhere in Singapore day or night without any worries? They cane people over there but liberals would never let any of these poor little darlings get caned here so as a result, we all live in fear.
You and I are on totally ends of the spectrum. Being a liberal losing your freedom does not bother you as much as it does me.
I would have to hold my nose to vote for Ron Paul.

But the actions of democrats do take America down. Down the path of en lement mentality, lowest common denominator schooling, bad economy, etc. etc. etc.
You do need to listen to him for some time to understand what he means. Without it, he is easily taken out of context. Perhaps purposely to get the media attention.

wow. There are times where I have to admit the fallibility and stupidity of my half of our species. On the same token, the fact that there are women who would marry the Menendez brothers, tells me that stupidity is not reserved for my sex.Since entering prison, both brothers have married, even though California does not allow conjugal visits for those convicted of murder or for those serving life sentences.

In the alternate universe of conservative talk radio, the killing of Bin Laden coincidentally happened on Barack Obama's watch. He had to be kicked dragging and screaming into authorizing it, and even then he made lots of mistakes. Democrats still can't be trusted on issues of national security, despite what some people believe who haven't been exposed to the kinds of brilliant analyses that can only be found on conservative talk stations. In order to get the bad guys and keep American safe, we need to elect red-blooded, red state conservative men (or the gun-toting Sarah Palin.)
