Disapprove. Attorney client privilege is a fundamental right that everyone should have, his lawyer should be disbarred for that.

Depends on the case
R Kelly is an idiot. Way to go ex lawyer man.
Sacred vow. Should never be broken no matter what.
Would love to hear OJ Simpsons Liarwyer team tell the truth.
I'm pregnant with RKellys offspring
Buy Ed Genson a beer
R. Kelly’s lawyer from first trial says singer was ‘guilty as ’
Ed Genson, the defense attorney who in 2008 helped Kelly get acquitted in a child pornography case, told the Chicago Sun-Times this week that Kelly "was guilty as " in that case.
Genson, 77, told the newspaper he arranged for Kelly to get shots of libido-killing drugs to keep the singer from getting into further trouble.
“He was guilty as !” Genson said. “I don’t think he’s done anything inappropriate for years. I’ll tell you a secret: I had him go to a doctor to get shots, libido-killing shots. That’s why he didn’t get arrested for anything else.”
On Thursday, two women whose families said they are being controlled by Kelly spoke out in his defense in an interview with CBS.

Duly noted. Side point but perhaps a huge if not the contributing factor: Ed Gerson has terminal cancer.
Yeah that makes it even tier imo. He basically said it I’m dying anyway so I’m going to start ing with my clients.
Or he said Good God, I helped abuse victims by getting this disgusting ape off. I'm going to do what I can now to help the victims.
Far as is being reported, Kelly is the only client he has outed.
That's even worse. Outing only a famous client to apparently save your own rep is pathetic.
Wasn't that guy on his deathbed?
FWIW from at Chicago article:
I wondered if this statement might violate attorney/client privilege. But
1) Genson volunteered the information;
2) Kelly is no longer his client; and 3) attorney/client privilege doesn’t hold if a client is engaged in ongoing criminality or is perjuring himself. Both might be the case if Kelly is indeed found guilty.

No.
March 7th, 2019 quote:
Doctors gave him 90 days to live.
“That was a year and a half ago,” said Genson. “They don’t know what they’re doing.”
Yeah this journalist has no ing idea how attorney/client privilege works. Responses to each:
1) The fact he volunteered the information doesn't make it so he's not violating privilege. The rules of attorney client privilege are precisely so the information isn't volunteered.
2) Doesn't matter. Information is still privileged if it's a former client.
3) Those exceptions (and I'm not even sure those are right) wouldn't apply to a former lawyer revealing information about a case from a decade ago.
Disapprove of anyone trying to get anyone off who they know is guilty. Something is wrong with any system where it's ....get the guy off guilty or not if you can.
Anyone who commits any crime should be punished.
Disapprove
Tangent, I'll admit: But what was your thought on Mueller pretending that Trump / Cohen didn't have attorney-client privilege?
Or he found another way to get his name in the press. Let's not start thinking he had a moral epiphany now.
Nothing funny about knowing a guy did kill the old lady and you are trying to get him off the hook so he can kill again.
You never heard of how they handled that?
That's an expected shame.
Muh non-point point

Pretty sure he's laughing at the irony of you saying it, while you should be in prison in the Philippines.
An SCO team separated the items from the raid they determined to be privileged and a former federal judge was appointed as a Special Master to verify the privilege of those items.

Dude, are you really this damn lost? Don't you know anything at all about any of that? What was the age of consent over there, what....no clue? So lock up 10 million sailors and soldiers and airdales......hahahahaha~~~~~~
Bla bla
If a lawyer can get....yes I did it....out of his client, the fix is in. He let's the judge know then loses the case. Obviously puts on a little show, yep...like the rasslin'
rights the bottom line is get this crook off the streets.
Sorry derp. I simply told you what happened.
Is there something you didn't understand?
Pavlov, just let it go guy, do you have to respond to everything, just be cool...ok?
