moral victory?
Can’t be overly pissed about this loss. Came back from down 19, led by 6 until Harden did Harden things, nearly won in Houston despite being a bottom feeder road team and being pretty cold from the field overall. The compe ive spirit in me is LIVID but the realist in me is alright.
I HATE Harden when he’s the ref’s darling but the refs had nothing to do with his god-mode 4th quarter. He doesn’t need the refs to be great, they’re just icing on his disgusting cake. I’d be more angry if he got a bunch of And-1’s to seal this game.
Let’s cool off Spurs fans, we’ll live. At least we know that even a 1st round oust will be a total dog fight
a loss is a loss man, no point playing the toe to toe bs
I cant stand the term and avoid it at all costs but....yeah
Yeah the 1st round annihilation by the Warriors will be fun for a 3rd year in a row
DDR and LMA are not winners, not champions
Yeah good game. Spurs played well.
Spurs with only 4 more fouls than them but 15 less FTAs.
Doesn’t matter the spurs have a first round date with the warriors at this point .
Denver is the place to go . . .
No it won’t. But the one game the Spurs will win in the series will be game 3 giving us a little glimmer of hope instead of the pity game 4 win to avoid the sweep
When do they hand out the toe to toe championship?
Lol people still thinking we can challenge Denver without HCA.
Didn’t we have an internet fight already? Looks like somebody’s cruisin’ for a cyber bruisin’
We'd take them. Srs.
When they go up 3-0 on this team they’ll sweep. This years Spurs don’t fight back when down
Spurs snatched defeat from the claws of victory. DeChoken took a bad call personally and threw the game away with a series of ball-hogging possessions down the stretch.

As far as the OP goes, in the grand scheme of things theres really not much difference between winning a close one and losing a close one. I worry when we dont compete. This performance wasn't that. If anything it suggests we'd be a very tough out for Houston.
Right and being an athlete all my life, I mostly agree with the loss is a loss sentiment. On the same token, a 30 point blowout loss would have us all in spiral. Harden hit 3 threes in a row to put the game out of reach. I wanna call it dumbluck but he’s done this before. The dagger three he hit was miscommunication on defense, not a result of bad defense per se. Also, the Spurs were just cold from the field, especially Bertans. Davis hits one more of his many wayward threes we’re all getting stoopid right now about how the Spurs are PEAKING AND MIGHT HAVE A SHOT AT CHIPPING AGAIN
