As we all know his first seven NFL seasons the best we have seen from anyone. He holds numerous NFL records and firsts, he is already of historical importance in the game.
I hope Seattle doesn't pay it, and he has to move on. This run run thing that Carroll likes to do works but it's time to see Wilson toss it around more. The guy will really put up the numbers in a passing offense.

Tom Brady is the greatest QB we have ever seen, with him his inability to run means nothing he is that good. Russell Wilson is great but he is no Tom Brady.

He’s worth it. But they can’t afford to toss draft picks on rashad penny and ty receivers. When you have a qb on a discount your margin for error with teambuilding expands.

As far as Prescott goes... now that Lawrence is re-signed and that's that, I hope we emphasize locking up Jaylon Smith, Byron Jones, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and even Zeke. Prescott can be tagged or become a UFA in 2020, is fine. I'm good with drafting a QB in 2020 and letting him compete with Mike White and a FA.
There was no drama/doubt at all that Wilson was going to get his $$$$$$. I knew this a week ago, you do not let go of a guy of his caliber.
What he has done in his seven year career is historically great. Most wins, and so many records/firsts/stats it's hard to believe. No old timer or current QB compares if talking those first seven seasons.
Here is an amazing QB, one of the very best we have ever seen that is why he is the highest paid player in the NFL I saw this coming long ago, the kid simply had....IT.
