lol early reviews have been glowing, the only complaints are that it s all over everything The Last Jedi set up. Sounds like something you would enjoy tbh.

I don’t get the hate for this movie. They did exactly what you guys wanted, they retconned it so that The Last Jedi basically never happened. This is a 2.5 hour apology from Disney, you guys should be loving it.
It was already dead under Lucas. He was done making movies and all that was left were a couple cartoon series. Any excitement for future SW movies was pretty mich zapped by the tyness of the prequel trilogy. Disney revitalized the excitement by purchasing the franchise away from Lucas.
Disney will be in a better place now that the Skywalker crap is over with. Move on and tell some different stories. Stop rehashing this same block of time and the same tired characters.

All indications points to no. They'll be using the same characters in one way or another simply because THAT is Star Wars. What is their intention with the baby Yoda stuff if not to use him because he looks like Yoda and tug on your nostalgia string.
Meh. I'll be wasting 15 bucks on Friday to just to fill up my curiosity and to say I have completed the sets of Star Wars Trilogy.
Unfortunately, you're probably right, especially with the Kenobi series coming out eventually. Rumors of an eventual Old Republic movie give me a little hope though.
