Well he was force sensitiveI wanted Finn to be a Jedi so bad. There had to be a reason he was even able to wield a lightsaber. The robe he had on at the end of TFA to me was foreshadowing what his journey would be in this trilogy. I was really looking forward to it.
But no. Rian Johnson had him chasing around Asian poony while freeing horses on a gambling planet for rich white people. Thanks Rian.

This movie was...wow.
How many trailers were there for this movie? I saw like 3. All of the clips from the trailers are in the first 5-10 minutes of the movie. Palpatine popping out in the first scene and looking like an emo punk rockstar was weird.
Supreme Leader Kylo Ren...doesn't have the same ring to it. They needed a more convincing actor to play the role...or have him never take off his badass looking ing mask.
I thought the 2 hours wasn't long enough but I was thankful it wasn't longer because I checked out of the movie with about 40 minutes to go.
Yikes. Makes me look at the Poe actor in a much different light.
Logan Lucky was pretty bad tbh. I still can't figure out how the it wound up so well reviewed. Still want to check out Marriage Story though.

I didn’t even say he was a bad actor given this is the only movies I’ve seen him in. Merely commented how unconvincing he was as the heir to Vader or to Palpatine for that matter. Has nothing to do with acting and more about role not fitting with the actor.

No actor hit the level of their forerunners. The only thing I'll say in their defense is that the writing may have made that an impossibility.
This movie is exactly what hardcore Star Wars cultists deserve.
