Before you go into the games, play Astro's playroom like BB said. It's basically a tutorial about the dual sense. I was shooked when the triggers actually behave like....well triggers. You can actually feel a pull which is incredible.
Anyone having issues syncing trophies with PSN Network? It's giving me an error everytime I do it.
Damn I forgot to do that with my PS4.
So is it worth getting again if you have beaten it on PS3 already in your opinion?i finally got my PS5
Not far enough to give an opinion, and i never played the OG, but its basically another souls game to me so in that respect it's worth it. from what i understand it is a fairly faithful remake of the original, so i don't think it's much different. if you played in on PS3 and were satisfied with beating it i wouldnt imagine you'd wanna do it again unless you were really into the story of it

I do, but not at $70 lol. Too bad hardware supply being nowhere close to demand for the next year plus a ensures we aren't going to see discounts on any games other than the yearly Ubisoft crap.
I don't know about that. At least if you have plus. I'm not promising anything and I don't have any inside info either, just saying coz they already gave out Control and Destruction All Stars for free and plus always gets discounts here and there.
PSN Network is all out of wack for me. Shows some updated games and trophies and some not. Here for example it shows Ghost of Tsushima as if I haven't even beat it. I still haven't been able to sync them yet. First PS5 game plat is in the books though.

Speaking of Control, kind of disappointed how low of settings they went on the 60 fps mode just to get 1440p resolution. Decided against getting Plus since I saw I could play the 60 fps mode settings on my 1660 Super easily at 1080p, and I'm running both PC and PS5 on 1080p screens right now anyways.
Most of them from the PS3 era. I think I only platted 2 games on the PS4 with Uncharted 4 and God of War been the only triple A games I bothered to sink in serious time in.
Should have platinumed NieR Automata and Ghost of Tsushima, those were really easy plats if you like doing side missions. Horizon Zero Dawn too (which is free starting on the 19th if you don't have it yet).
Yeah Zero Dawn is a game I’ve been looking to play for a long time just haven’t gotten around to it yet. I’ve moved away from the grindier games and focused more on straight forward goals and games.
I tried to get P5 plat but the game is too complex and you have to keep too many things in mind. Also game is hard as is. Lol
The platinum is a bas on regular Persona 5. Read every book, beat every Famicom game, catch every fish, etc. Took me three playthroughs to get it. Strangely enough the plat is pretty easy on Persona 5 Royal, I got it on my first playthrough.

I'm honestly kind of worried about Playstation this gen with Jim Ryan in charge and how he's moving them away from a Japan focus. Gutting Japan Studios is ing unforgivable after they put out the best game on the system last gen. Meanwhile XBox is aggressively targeting Japan, such as their current push to get Kojima's next game on XBox and PC at launch. Sony is already getting their teeth kicked in by Nintendo in Japan. While PS5 is the obvious choice for early gen, I'm kind of not expecting it to have the incredible game library PS4 had since the company is run by a for brains and so much of what made PS4 amazing was the exclusives coming out of Japan, most of which are multiplats now. Microsoft should really just buy Sega so they could market the Series S/X under the Sega name in Japan.
Oh if you're talking MLB The Show, I think the MLB told Sony it wasn't selling enough as a Playstation exclusive and they could either make is multiplatform or lose the MLB exclusive license and have compe ion from another series that would release on Switch, XBox, and PC.

This Jim Ryan guy is making a lot of unforced errors. Between his dumb, uninformed comments about old games being and why would anyone play them to getting rid of proven and competent studios.
Something is going on at Sony. For some reason notable key people are bailing on them. We don’t even know why Shawn Leyden even left. And now you hear Microsoft is poking at video game makers to go work for them. You’re gonna get your lunch ate at that rate.
Though I’d still say Microsoft is years away from even been taken seriously in Japan if at all. Sony is not just going to suddenly be on the outs over there.
Playstation is already on the outs in Japan. If you look at weekly game sales there they are completely dominated by the Switch. It reminds me of NES vs Master System vs Atari 7800 in the US back in the 80s. Here's the last full Famitsu weekly sales chart, from March 22nd through March 28th, where Sony has two games in the top 30 while Nintendo has 28. And those two games are multiplats that sold better on Switch.
