PSVR sucked because PS4 was crap hardware for the time. PSVR 2 could be a real powerhouse with PS5 powering it. It's going to be tethered, you can't put a PS5 in a headset.Unless PSVR2 is able to get an Oculus type headset going without all the wires it's not gonna be worth it. PSVR was the biggest waste of money ever. I literally can't even sell this anywhere but eBay

Holy , Yakuza Ishin is getting English localization and will be coming out in the West in February 2023. Game is literally the reason I started learning Japanese since I figured it would never get localized since Americans don't know who the Ryoma Sakamoto is (he's a George Washington level historical figure in Japan). You play as Sakamoto, but using Kiryu's likeness. The Yakuza fanbase has been dying for this localization ever since the game came out in 2014 and it's a pretty critically acclaimed game in Japan.
Oh it's not just localization, it's getting the Kiwami remake treatment.
I thought the gameplay was actually decent. Being tethered with a ton of wires everywhere was the reason I never brought it back out after I put it up
Damn, Stellar Blade looks like it might end up pretty good too. Can't wait to see how this looks around E3 next year.
Was not expecting much from this State of Play, but it was pretty ing strong. Conversely the Nintendo Direct today that I had high expectations for was dog .
Too bad Rise of the Ronin is a 2024 game, you know that's going to be awesome when it's from Team Ninja who did the Nioh and Ninja Gaiden games.
Oh can't wait for this next year

Yakuza fans and people wanting more games taking place in Japan are eating well right now.
Yeah Ishin, a new Kiryu game, and a new Ichiban game is better than any Yakuza fan could have hoped for in one day.

LOL just got an invite from Sony to buy a PS5 more than a year and a half after I bought my PS5.
i got one earlier this week as well... even though i got mine through Sony's playstation direct earlier this year

Interested to see how Resident Evil 8 VR reviews. Disappointing no Half Life Alyx announcement for it though. Don't think I'd buy a VR headset that can't play Alyx.

Wonder if that PS5 Pro rumor is actually true, because the PS5 God of War Ragnarok bundle has been dropped to $510 everywhere. Pretty good deal considering how amazing a game Ragnarok is. Probably the best Playstation exclusive since Persona 4 Golden.

Better than the first IMO. Rgnarok is like Godfather 2 but if it was 85% DeNiro and 15% Atreus, I mean Pacino.

We pretty much already knew that though. I want to see some more of Stellar Blade; we haven't heard anything about it since The Game Awards back in December.
