When you buy a new console, do you keep your old ones? If you have a lot of them, what solution do you use for keeping them stored/organized without overwhelming your space? I live in a small apartment and don’t know how I’ll find space for both my current console and a next-gen console.

Just clean out your rape closet and I think you'll have space for all your old equipment.

Keep that . Gaming on old consoles is cheap and you'll never exhaust the great games on any halfway decent console.

Still have NES, Sega and PS1

Let my Mexican friend borrow my old PS2 and without telling me he used it to upgrade to a PS3

I recently gave my old PS3 to my chicks younger brother

My Xbox1 is sitting in my closet collecting dust. I've logged in a handful of times the past 12 months

I use a MacBook but kept my Asus just to have windows for coding purposes

I dont give a for nostalgia tbh.

I always give my old consoles to cousins and such. I may keep certain games though but not for Nostalgia sake. I see it as a once in a lifetime keep sake.

Like for example, I have the original Shenmue game that came with 4 discs including a "passport disc" that was supposed to work online.

no. but I wish I had my ps1, ps2 and ps3. I miss those badboys.

Lots of memories. Specially ps1 and ps2.

I'm actually thinking of buying an old tv and buy ps1 and ps2.

Was looking at Kijiji (Canadian Craiglist) for some cheap 2000 TV but really cant find one.

I don’t, tbh, gave most to my nephew. Some of them I can’t even remember where they ended up. After moving I left a lot of the oldies behind.

Still got my Sega Master System II and original Game Boy collecting dust in my parents house, my Xbox 360 as well. My brother gave away our PS2 to a friend iirc.

Haven't touched them in years besides the 360 though.

It never occurred to me to keep them for nostalgia reasons. I’m not a very nostalgic person. I just would keep mine because I still like the old games. It kind of surprises me how many people keep theirs, but don’t necessarily use them.

No clue tbh. It's either in their basement or gone.

I have retroarch, that's enough for me tbh

I have an Intellivision from the 80's (my first gaming console), original Atari 2600, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo series, all the XBox series and PS series. My son has the older ones. He's a game developer and displays them. I recall having a console called "Odyssey" but don't have it.

I wish I’d kept my Dreamcast. It’s the one console I bought almost every games of.

Gave it away to cousins once I moved on to Sony.

I'm pretty sure all of my consoles dating back to the Coleco are boxed away either here or at one of my brothers' houses. I was actually in the process of selling off a lot of my Dreamcast, PS2, and 360 games before the crisis hit just to declutter.

This is what I had, my first gaming console (only had tank pong style racing and a generic pac man like game.) Late 70's or early 80's, cannot recall exactly.

This didn't belong to me personally and I didn't take it when I left home.
