WRong thread
I wouldn't be mad if Gabbard won the presidency, tbh.
This was a decent interview. Although as much as I like Rogan, he does tend to talk over his guests and make it about him sometimes.
Tulsi has a pretty clear and well thought out plan about foreign policy. But she did sidestep or ignore a lot of questions about domestic issues.
Still, I like what she has to say. And think she's got it right about getting away from the tribalism of politics today.
Unfortunately, I think her policy of being people funded (no Pac contributions) is going to put here at a big disadvantage. Not to mention, she doesn't sound radical enough to get the far left vote.
I think I'd be willing to suffer Trump for four more years if it meant she had a shot in 2024.
Tulsi is pretty hot. Plus, she can surf.
I think we'll see a fair batch of these lower tier candidates to drop off the race after the first debate in June.
Biden pretty much busted the race. It's between maybe 4 others.
Who do you want to win if you had your pick?
Should have qualified it that she wasn't an option
Did we not go through this a couple of weeks ago?
I already said I like Beto as my first guy. Guy's gone nowhere lately.
Still time though.
Says the guy who would vote for another surefire loser in Warren.
What do you find appealing about him?
Well for one, he's young and not looking like he's about to croak.
He's appealing to young and old voters.
Doesn't fall in the too far left/moderate crowd though he pulls from both groups if we're going by Texas senate race standards.
I just want a candidate that's not in the Bernie realm of politics. You can be progressive and not be a leech at the same time.
All fair points.
I'd like him except his history with big oil alone is a deal breaker for me. Climate change should be far and away the most important issue in every election in the future imo, which is why Jay Inslee is my top pick even though he doesn't have a chance.
Way too early to call it. 18 months is a political eternity.
