it translated well enough to win 7 finals games in a 2 years span, and they'll be favored to represent the west again
Their panache style (overeliance on 3 ball) game doesn't translate as well to the post-season only that GSW got more breaks...size, rebounding, pain-control and overall e in defensive physicality/ intensity of playoff basketball seem to blunt a lot of their advantages starting from their PG play..
they have looked mortal in two consecutive post-seasons (vs average comp for most part) and should have been eliminated 8 games before tonight needing 17 in' 3s from Curry/Thompson to squeak out Game 6 win vs Thunder..
it translated well enough to win 7 finals games in a 2 years span, and they'll be favored to represent the west again
hardly with the same dominance of their regular season record..the ty Grizz, the depleted Cavs, the chokey Thunder all had them on the ropes...
Suns were just historically unlucky.
Wardell is better than Nash. Wardell is a legit top 20 player of all time...
let's not let the loss totally diminish his accomplishment.
Sure, but he is going to have to impact/take over a big game in a way other than by going 8-12 from 3PT..
I rally think the Spurs would have beaten them last year in WCF with a healthy Splitter..
You'd a beat 'em this year if you hadn't lost twice in Texas when Oklahoma beat you over the head with a panhandle.
We were too flawed this year, Dale. We didn't have a chance.
If that helps you sleep tonite, fine. I'll watch over you because I can't sleep.
Disagree.
Warriors play defense, Suns didn't
Warriors centers around ball movement, cuts and picks. Suns were PG centric mostly around pick and roll and drive and kicks
Suns had inside scoring with Amare, Warriors doesn't have much inside scoring other than penetration.
When Durant comes to the Spurs, that will change.
They looked mortal, but still won a le last year, came back from 3-1 down against OKC this year & made the finals again with a 3-1 lead. Every team is mortal, but they are still incredible.
It's just that playoff Lebron is so dominant.
No one is going to be as dominant as the regular season, especially a 73 win regular season. In the playoffs, you are playing only good teams usually (at least better than average). Also, Curry got hurt and that definitely plays a role.
You get so ing close, Deeps---and then you do an about face and sit down.
GD you.
What's this?
The Asterisk
For what, last season?
hahahhahaa oh man just terrible
