mind boggling that biden is leading the race. the does he have to offer?
Warren is definitely a policy wonk. I would be more than happy to vote for her, and this is where I am putting my own primary vote when it comes up, so far.
More than a little contrast to the intellectual wasteland that is the Republican party, which hasn't produced any idea beyond "cut taxes for the rich" in decades.
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/202...osals-n1010301ALEM, Iowa When voters ask Sen. Elizabeth Warren about her plan for universal child care, she's likely to launch into a story about her Aunt Bee a woman who, as the candidate tells it, came to help, arriving "with seven suitcases and a Pekingese named Buddy" and stayed for 16 years.
It's a story to tell voters more about Warren herself, but it also serves to highlight one of her many policy prescriptions for the country.
The Massachusetts Democrat has churned out a consistent stream of policy proposals since getting in the president race, with more than a dozen in-depth plans ranging from leveraging public lands in the fight against climate change to student loan debt forgiveness. While other candidates have worked to increase their name ID, Warren is pushing to make her name synonymous with having "a plan for that" the thing that could differentiate her from the Democratic field of more than 20 contenders.
But while the consistent flurry of policy papers puts meat on the bone for reporters, as well as puts the pressure on fellow candidates, are voters clamoring for specifics?
For Warren, perhaps nowhere does the answer to that question matter more than in Iowa where shes banking on consolidating support to springboard her into the top tier of candidates in the state's first-in-the-nation caucuses early next year.

Warren's CFPB took $11B from BigFinance and gave it back to the victims.
... is why BigFinance will spend $100Ms to stop her, if she looks like a primary winner, and it will probably work.
And the corrupt Dem establishment will lend BigFinance a helping hand.
support of the Dem establishment. And he's counting on the pervasive American ignorance and disengagement.
"consistent flurry" captures it better than the somewhat emo, somewhat overwraught "tries to break out with a flurry"

She's my favorite candidate so far because she's putting in work and "she has a plan".
I can see her leapfrogging the field eventually.
Name recognition. The brain dead knuckle dragging black voters don’t put any actual thought or consideration into who the vote for in the primary they just pick the name they recognize the most.
A fake voting for a fake. Go figure.
Mine too. Once the field narrows I think she picks up a lot of those votes.
For better or worse, I think Biden appeals to the large swath of the population who is exhausted by politics and partisanship. They see him as the true anti-Trump because to them he's the least polarizing and divisive. It's less about issues or what he has to offer, and more about changing the tone.
We don't see a lot of that group on political message boards and Twitter, for obvious reasons, but it's a lot of people.
And he's likely the most popular Democrat candidate among Republicans right now.
Think she'll take Bernie's #2 spot at some point.
Good old Bernie is looking fairly average in this pack.
Aw Koriwhat's plantive cry for my attention. Delicious tears.
Still not reading koriwhat posts.
To be clear, I don't even "view posts" out of curiosity. the ONLY poster I have ever put on ignore, and I don't regret that decision at all.
IT boggles my mind that anyone else bothers.
why? koriw, chris, ducks, chucho, darren, etc, etc all post total crap. It's bad enough they get quoted, but ignoring them saves screen real estate.
quotes of that mob confirm that they still and always have nothing I want to read.
Then we have pavlov pages of inane, childish, I-gotcha-now, one-up-man , pissing matches

She gets my vote so far
biden will fall by the wayside
however
usa voters will not ever vote for someone who actually does what is in their best interest
10Ms of Repug supporters vote from hate and outrage against other Americans who they want their Repug politicians to hurt, even if that means those Repug politicians will screw their voters financially and otherwise, which they have done for decades.
Likeability, name recognition, experience.
It's all cosmetic, imo; but it is reality all the same.

1. She's really selling that she legitimately thought she was simply Native American
when she's so obviously a white woman.
2. She's selling that the "corrective" system she advocated for then gave her no advantage (which is obviously as big of a lie as the first).
She'll get hammered in the general if the snowflake Democrats want to hand her to Trump on a platter.
For why?
Yea, I would think a lecherous leach would suit you.
Listen to her.
If you actually were an American and cared - you would understand she is the only one making perfect sense.
Will she be allowed to carry out her policies - most probably not - but Trump promised a million things and so far has only gifted two trillion to the richest Americans and corporations.
So - lesser of two evils?
Obviously Warren.
Unless you are a billionaire and an old white man - in which case I understand you voting for trump.
Oh okay. Who do you guys like for the Democratic candidate?
I look forward to your insightful and compelling responses.
Show me a candidate who isn't involved with this:
Also, tell me about their policies. Then I will tell you if I like them.
I look forward to your insightful and compelling response.
Soft hands, caring hugs and those words of encouragement. Plus he wears Aqua Velva.
