    Question

Why is the French team so dark. Not even the Brits or Americans are so bad. What is occurring in that dumpy nation or have the Natives abandoned footy?

Hahah. This wasn't their first WC victory. France NT is notorious for team mutiny.

From what I noticed, seems Native French are no longer interested in the sport. If Major League Baseball turned 75% Asian, you would see the same disinterest in the USA

    wow...not starting Rapinoe.

Ellis committing career suicide if they don't win. Assuming this is a coach's decision.

they deserved the L. The PK miss plus the keeper missing the first US goal. Sloppy stuff.

SMH The England forward whiffing on the bunny shot. If I had a dollar for every time I saw that this women's tournament, I would be hitting up In N' Out or something.

Rapinoe is nothing special. It's a testament to how much women's soccer has stagnated that she's a "star" at her advanced age.

She can put shots on goal. Something no one else was able to do today from any distance.

Her last four goals were two PKs, and a wide open shot from the top of the box that her slow ass got to when a player whiffed, and a nonshot that went through a player's legs. I assume she had some against the u12 level Thailand team that gave up 13, too.

This WC has been a stat stuffer delight for her getting stats she wasn't even getting when she was prime. I guess I'm saying she's very replaceable.

This isn't NBA sweetie. You need a well oiled machine. USA was gifted crucial calls in both knockout matches.

The World has caught up and the White British team choked. Should have finished the job

I’m aware of how she’s got her goals this tourney. She still has one of the more accurate shots from outside the 18. Most of their shots today floated over.

I don’t disagree that she’s not replaceable. But for her to have the impact she’s had recently, it would have been pretty bold not to start her if she was healthy. Which it turned out she wasn’t.
