Seems like Warren could be the Bogdanovic replacement. Maybe they don't like where that's going contractually or are concerned that he's going to be lured (the rare somewhat in demand player the Spurs could win the sweepstakes on, for obvious reasons).
The Suns better land Russell, Brogdon, etc. or this is a terrible trade.
Wow, ATL gonna have quite the young core.
Don't know the details yet but that's probably a good trade for New Orleans. The fourth pick in a three player draft is not one you want to be holding, tbh.
I would rather have Claxton or Hayes, but I wouldn't be mad at that.
New Orleans could sure use one of our vets. Right?
I guess we know the 4th pick now... spoilers
who wouldnt want derozan
ST trying to trade DDR or LMA for #4.
My guess if ATL is taking Culver or Hunter. They wouldn’t trade up for a PG.
It's Hunter
Woj is saying Hunter
Spurs need to call Atlanta to see what it would take to get the #10 pick off their hands if they really want Sekou
Hawks moving off 8 and 17 is good news for the Spurs. Sekou/Rui/Little made sense for them (as evidenced by them reportedly in on Hunter at 4). Those guys make less sense for a team like the Pelicans IMO....
Hunter is who I'd pick fourth so can't fault the Hawks there. They also didn't really give up all that much.
What a job by the Hawks and Pelicans. Obviously getting Williamson helped tremendously, as did Davis not talking his value to nearly the extent S bag did, but nonetheless, in about 5 minutes they blew right past the Spurs as far as their future.
Of note, the Pelicans at 17 could be a Bitadze team. Hawks (10), Hornets (12), Celtics (14) look like the other 3 who could select him . . . and hopefully they do, otherwise you know it'll be too tempting for these senile idiots.
Really hope the Bulls go PG or C at #7. I can't see the Peli's going swingman at 8....
That would leave Sekou, Rui, Little, Reddish all in play for picks 9-19.....
Forbes, Bertans, 19 and a future 1st for #8. Pels need shooting and they get more picks.
Hunter was the only guy I wanted the Spurs to move up for.
Me, too. Sorry for Hunter, though. Probably too many young guys in Atlanta for them all to be developed properly.
I'm hesitant about trading future 1st round picks because next year's draft could be deeper than this year's, tbh.
Same here. Despite all Spurs' history stacked against me, I had held out a tiny bit of hope.
