yeah.. the Spurs are due for a blessing from the basketball Gods at some point soon.. it's been a rough 2.5 years
A less athletic version of Jaylen Brown?
Keldon and Klay Thompson’s Draft measurments are very similar. I wonder if he could be our version of Klay. 6’9 wingspan also.
Klay Thompson 6-5 3/4 6-71 1/4 205.6 6-9 8-7 1/2 8.0 8.8 9.3
He's about the same size as Demar DeRozan
6' 5.25" 6' 6.25" 211.2 6' 9" 8' 6.25"
Apparently he's a goofball. Sounds like a great presence for the locker room.
Keeps his arms up when driving up (effective for drawing fouls) and takes long strides to the basket. Evidence of eurosteps too. This kid gonna be good.
He's an on ball pest kind of like bruce bowen. Bowen hardly hit steals. He just blanketed his man primarily and concetrated on shutting him down.
Looks good
Work on his left hand/going left
This is one thing DDR has is a good left hand finishing in traffic
New article feature on him just came out

I'm on the bandwagon. A lot of it is PATFO's track record. If they think Keldon is good enough to draft, he will be at the very least a solid role player.
People on here including me were high on Blossomgame and the Spurs let him go. Earning minutes as a rookie is always tough on the Spurs. He’ll probably be in Austin the entire year.
Yea and people here have compared him to bowen, klay, ldn and harden
lol, peeps think this beta cares about anyone but himself.....
I see some Bradley Beal / Russell Westbrook on his game, how he moves but I'm not saying he could be as good as those. lol Maybe just me. I'm not expecting too much but hoping he could be a solid role/key player.
Keldon’s dad is very Pro-Spur and in alignment with the organization. I love it
When a team drafts a player in the 2nd round, and signs him to a G-league only contract, it’s probably best not to put too much stock in his chances.
Well, KD also called Load Management a system player who is inferior to Paul George so I wouldn't put stock in anything he says, tbh.
I see more Butler in him. He is slightly shorter than Jimmy but with a longer wingspan and much higher standing reach. No one would say Jimmy can't play the three or guard big wings. Of course, Johnson will need time to grow into his body and gain enough renown in the league to play a physical style on D without too many fouls, but he can certainly be an SF in that same mold.
I understand complaining about KJ at #19, but, at #29, he's an absolute no brainer.
So he apparently has a 7'0 wingspan all of a sudden?
not bad a few days after the draft
Keldon J has all the look of being a wonderful pick at #29, I certainly agree. He could do good things for us.
