I'm not watching. It's going to be an exercise in fanciful thinking. Wipe out a $1 Trillion+ of student debt, free college, universal healthcare, universal basic income, reparations, etc. .... all things that are never happening and we all know it.
I like Bernie Sanders, but to me this is simply dishonest. He knows this isn't going to happen and even if it did it amounts to almost de facto bribery for votes. There needs to be a plan to help people with their student debt but this isn't a plan -- it's just a fantasy IMO.
When we're flush with 401k money & the margins are crazy good we can afford to piss it away on illegals, and loan scofflaws. Making oversimplified and poorly thought through proposals is what American politics is all about, imo.
Warren should be able to capitalize tonight. It's the first debate after months of hype so it'll get plenty of viewers even though tomorrow's debate has almost all of the big names, and it's her going up against a bunch of nobodies polling at <5%.
Tomorrow's debate will be a show dominated by Biden vs. Bernie.

Actually I expect tonight's debate to be the one that will focus on policy and such. Tomorrow will be just a show with everyone piling on Biden's record.
I think Castro' might be interesting if he gets anything more than 45 seconds.
