He's a legend at this point. I think he'll get a job on the Spurs after his Basketball career is over

Maybe they will have him move to some sort of coaching role on the Austin staff to prep him for the show? I don't know if the guy has it in him to be a good coach but he should know the system by now.

I'd love to see him get a game or two to run in the League. I've been to several Austin Spurs games and he's always been super nice with the kids that wait for them. Good guy.

He could be hired as a developmental staff guy, tape guy, intern-type coach situation. If he were a chick, I'm sure he would already be there...

his fault he is a Cis white male in today's NBA
To be fair the spurs also hire the sons of powerful coaches too.

Ledbetter reminds me of an aging (but very proud) surfer dude. He's always looking for the next wave, fearing that the real world might be lurking out there. The life guard at the beach, a bit too old to be doing it (as his friends and family keep reminding him).

I'm a Summer League junkie and Ledbetter is one of those constants you can always count on.

"The Endless Summer," that was a classic movie about surfers denying all else to chase that perfect wave. The Endless Summer or maybe even the Endless Summer League. An inscrutable warrior. That's Ledbetter.

Just like for the Spurs it’s good to have vets I think it’s an excellent idea to keep a high character smart player around. To me he all ready is a players coach I think he makes the transition for new kids a lot more easier having someone who knows the system and what the Spurs are looking in player development

I wish bedwetter would go the away, cant stand looking at him and every time he gets the ball, he’s shooting it. Hopefully next summer league will be a lot less better.

Can you retire G-League jerseys? Raise his jersey to the Austin rafters, imo.

I agree. A loyalty and hustle bonus so he can tell his grandchildren I once played on the great San Antonio Spurs when they were on their epic run of playoff appearances. Maybe he could then be the legendary coach for the Austin Spurs
