Wow, Melton! They talked highly of him all season. Now? They'll call him everything but a black man.

They were warned repeatedly & at length about Jackson & refused to abide. Their regrets are their own. I've no sympathy for them.

Josh Jackson definitely wasn't a great pick, but he had more value than this. The cap space isn't getting used anywhere else, so it even makes more sense to hold onto him for another year to see if there's any more development.

The straw that broke the camel's back was the story about his son's mother accusing him of blow pot smoke in the baby's face and getting him high. Who knows if it was true but the optics were ugly. & he was never recalcitrant about his mistakes. Not a word of remorse.

To your point, he had character issues like that coming out of school. If you found that kind of bothersome, don't draft him. If you do draft him, you should be walking into the situation with some patience knowing he's going to do stupid on and off the court until he grows up.

True. They kept changing Head Coaches & GM's his entire time here. That didn't help. New HC Monty Williams was going to try and (fix him) when the pot smoking popped up.

Exactly. The Suns organization isn't exactly a bedrock of stability. You can be pretty sure anyone who walks into it who has issues is only going to get worse.

Moving Jackson was the only way to clear enough space to sign Rubio—other than stretching Tyler Johnson which they didn’t want to do even to get Russell. Dumping both Melton and Okobo still left them about $800k short.

I know he’s a headcase like Cousins, but at least Cousins was talented. Josh was the #1 prospect out of HS and then played pretty well in college. Wonder why he cant put it all together at the NBA level.

It'll be interesting to see if he pulls a D'Angelo Russell and becomes a good player after escaping a organization.

?? We developed Leonard then won a championship whilst he utterly destroyed the current leader of your franchise. Years ago, when LeBron was a much better player. Hard to knock that

He went on to another team and won another ring, but he was the same player here.

    Shall we begin

Russell became a good player after leaving a organization, and so did Leonard with the Spurs?

Spurs lost their starting PG at the beginning of the season and still made it to the last minute of game 7 against the 2 seed in the stacked West. All while your boy Kobe Jr. tried to trade the entire team publicly mid-season, then gave up on the team to start planning a comic book movie about outer space basketball players.

With all those years of being completely irrelevant, your team only drafted two (2) good players and let them BOTH go for nothing (Russell and Randle). Then gave the keys to the franchise to the son of Big Baller Brand.

Then hired Magic, and a year before he quit on your/his hometown team (quite publicly I might add), Magic begged LeBron to come over and make your team Cavaliers West.

Then they struck out on hiring ing Tyron Lue. Couldn’t get ing Tyron Lue my dude.

What else...got fleeced by the cross town clippers for another one of your good young prospects (Zubac) for nothing. I could go on but wow

Were they taking to many shots? Booker got to get his 50's while the team loses by 30.
