Lebron/Rich Paul will make sure it won't happen.
Flippers don't have anything to trade to match salaries. I guess they'll try to get some guys for vet min like Iggy, Livingston, etc. They don't have a lot that they can trade left
Lebron/Rich Paul will make sure it won't happen.
Kawhi Leonard has signed his Los Angeles Clippers contract — a three-year, $103M maximum contract with a player option in the third season, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.
hum
He must not be too concerned about his health.
Not really. After two years, he's eligible for a HUGE contract increase. If he is this confident of his ability to play, you won't see him limping this year, and his missed games for Toronto and missed season for SA were a sham.
Not really. He's maneuvering for the supermax.
I didn’t think he’d chance it with his health.
Makes sense, it aligns with Paul George's contract and he'd be eligible for the 10 year vet max.
Can you get the Supermax if you were traded from the team that originally drafted you? I thought the rule was no.
Load managment looking like a ploy to keep him healthy for LA clippers
Duh.
But player fanboys can’t see that. Nice avatar ...
Why do people still naively believe he was injured???? Open your eyes, people.
Article on how Toronto was basically used as leverage. I'm not sure Kawhi is as dumb as some here would like to believe. Him keeping his circle very small certainly helps this. Time to move on from this as it's obvious it was LA for some time and he used his "injury" to look like a victim.

When are the kawhi clippers jerseys going on sale
He'll get 68 million over the first two years, opt out, then sign the 4 year 196 million deal for the ten years of service. That's 264 millionish over 6 years. If he's really smart, that deal will have an opt out after three years so at 33 or 34 he can get the end of your career max like Chris Paul because of the max contract at age 38 rule that Paul and LeBron put in the CBA. Paul George is looking at the same situation, probably a little higher salary, but the timing is the same.
Lakers wouldn't have enough to sign Danny
Whenever ppl resort to personal attacks instead of proving ur points wrong or making a counterargument, that's how you know u win... Most ppl can't even make a decent rebuttal when I make a point... They resort to name calling... I guess the stuff they say about southerners are right....
So it was an act in the playoffs then?
Because only a total moron would believe that the Spurs doctors would commit medical malpractice. Thinking that Leonard was not injured at all is just stupid and ignorant.
There is no question among rational people that Leonard was injured. There are, however, serious questions about the significance of that injury in the spring of 2018. That's where the real doubt is.
It was probably not really the rehabilitation from his injury that kept Leonard away from the Spurs. That's the true issue. Had it become known that Leonard's absence was actually a matter of personal preference, the Spurs would no longer have been obligated to pay him.
of course you re would say that. If you read the post right he said he wouldn't stay in Toronto if Kawhi resigned, my point had nothing to do with the Lakers
Finally this nig shows up to work.
99% Kiwi stays in Toronto
ESPN "analysts"
broussard was saying the same; that he was wrong but all signs pointed to the lakers, even rivers thought so, and his 'sources' were reliable. ultimately, he said that no one could have seen the PG thing coming. what broussard never admits is that there was never anything out there to really demonstrate that the lakers were ever the front runners at all. fact is, they probably never really were.
