Same. And that Mills and Beli's roles are dropped but it's Pop so I don't see that happening.

Not worried about belli as much as patty tbh

He was always a two year project IMO. I do wish we had made him a two way player from the start.
Still, I‘m rooting for him to figure it out and develop. If he ends up being a career rotation player, I’d be happy.

Our team is deep. Beli might be the 15th man and was our main bench player. No Cunningham spot minutes. So can I be greedy and say we should do mills/beli pick for Covington.

    Nice move.
But it makes the mega-overpay for Gay questionable.

Jesus ing Christ no it doesn’t. It adds depth. You need multiple wings and forwards like Morris and Carrol. Gay off the bench with walker white and Poeltl just builds on that depth.

Without the overpay of Gay you don't get Morris and Carrol. We could have given Gay his full Max it wouldn't have mattered. All that mattered was the years and we succeeded in keeping that at 2.

Never would I have thought a guy who kicked a homeless man would be the Spurs savior.
That was Terrence Jones who isn't in the league anymore

Nah. Bertans > Carroll right now.
You still have to take Carroll, imo. Better, more versatile defender and he's a solid enough shooter. Just fills a bigger position of need. Imagine having one of Morris/Carroll on LeBron at all times instead of the options we had just last year. Or being able to throw one at PG and Nephew each.

I loved Bert though and I'm going to miss him. Really wish he wouldn't have been the one that fell on the sword.

I like the Morris signing way more than the Carroll one. Morris fits nicely with the way we want to play

I like the way the team shaped up after making moves. It kinda sucks because Walker is most likely not gonna get any real run this upcoming season. If he does get good playing time this season outside of injury you know he earned it though!

Yep we will have a road team of young guys.

Home team of old vets who can rest and not travel.

Then once a month they come together to play a national televised game.

Last season Carroll's metrics were pretty mediocre in both sides of the floor. Imho, he's a player with more reputation than actual productivity right now. Add a year to that and he might not even be a rotation player next season. Still, it's a sign that made sense and I'm not ing (specially after getting Morris), I just don't think Carroll is a better player than Bertans right now.

Nice work. Now get rid of Scrubby Mills so Spurs fans don't have to watch him play 30 minutes per game in the playoffs in a first round loss. Attach a first if you have to
