Markieff was better in PHX right? Its been opposite ever since.
ah, thanks for that info. i was wondering why they tacked on a third year.

well obviously, but aside from that.
IDK. Morris is easily more mobile and can actually be considered a full-time SF. Gay and Carroll are old (one being injury-prone now (Gay)). basically 4 guys (Derozan, Morris, Carroll, Gay covering 2 spots (SF/PF) Carroll and Morris are on great per year contracts too so.
Good. I'm always confused between the two atleast we got the tough/aggressive one. Markieff seems more on being laidback.
Wonder how Pop handles the first time he drops into “about this life”
Glad RC and Pop stop drinking for a minute to participate in the NBA off-season.
I like the addition of Morris and Carroll. Had to figure something was up with Bobby
Marks weird tweet about a Spurs trade and use of the MLE.
I couldn't call Bertans' playoff shooting elite, but I'm sure there are some great excuses for that.
I'm loving that defensive versatility.
If they did a S&T with Boston who might they move?
Marcus obv
Im hyped. I love Marcus Morris the Spurs need that toughness and versatility. at those idiots who stayed Spurs wouldn't sign him.
You mentioned Carroll and Morris playing together. Given how pop likes to play mad scientist, how do you think Morris and DDR/ Morris and Gay fit with each other?

i really wanted bertans to work out... his quick/high release was nuts as a spacing weapon. but he was ultimately not good at doing just about anything else and had no position versatility. even though morris/carroll can shoot some, they arent going to resemble the shooting threat bertans was. hopefully white becomes a more aggressive shooter to compensate
Hope we can flip Forbes or Belinelli for a backup center. I think Willie Reed is still available who some of here wanted him previously.
wombat .....praying dog gif
Kieff was the better shooter and was a good fit in Phoenix and Marcus was more of a defensive type player. Both were headcases early in their career, but Marcus Sr. has shown to be a better fit for a winning team.
Yeah, but there is no requirement about the third year being fully guaranteed. Want to bet it comes out that the third year is either partially or unguaranteed?
what a solid day for Spurs. they may actually be a top 4 seed next year
Obviously you want bertans over belli but dont think wiz wanted that deal
Morris Carroll
DeRozan Morris
Morris Gay
Those all work at the forward spots.
I think a Forbes/Derozan/Morris/Gay/Aldridge line up could be likely at the end of games.
Good. Spurs need toughness.
S&T with Boston for Morris could free up a roster spot and drop some salary, probably would have to include a pick.
