Can't knock the hustle from Morris' perspective, tbh. He's going to get paid $15 mil this year, probably get traded to a playoff team by the deadline, then re-enter free agency in a far weaker market next year and get wildly overpaid by some desperate team. The Spurs are getting screwed, though. Klutch makes Scott Boras look good.

    OP is cancer.

If I'm the Spurs I would cut this now. He showed he's only looking for money.

I can understand what Morris is trying to do financially.

Still @ the Spurs for getting cucked.

I wonder if 5 more millions is worth the long term bad PR.

Then again, the Lakers will probably offer him 30 millions later on like they did Green for his "services."

This league has a commitment and lack of professionalism by these lazy players looking to get paid instead of actually earning their paycheck by actually playing the game.

IMO I would take the spurs deal. He’ll look way better and get a better deal after. Why play for the Knicks lol there going to be terrible

Thing is, the deal already stings. Cant imagine the Spurs players welcoming this guy after this. This is exactly the kind of poison that ed up the chemistry between Kahwi and the team.

he had a 1 + 1 with the spurs and still would have been able to enter free agency next year, and could have parlayed a strong playoff performance into a big contract. and nobody stopped him from negotiating with other parties as far as "the hustle"... making a commitment and reneging isn't the in the same category

And just like that the Spurs are back atop the West. Everybody chasing stars while PopaGOAT and Drunkford develop players and make solid, classy FA moves.

NBA dudes are such ing divas and this is from a bench player who hasn’t won . Why can’t players make up their minds choose and agree. Have to make it a circus.

& that's the path we're on like it, or, not. It ain't life & death of course, but, it is tragic. One just longs for how it used to be, but, that's never coming back.

What's up with this trying to get the best gig you can get. Nobody does that. This is America. We're honor bound to work for less because...fans..or something. I mean, look at how Raptors did DeRozan. Players are supposed to be loyal. Fans and GMs are never loyal.
