This all started with Lebron, though the seeds can be found in Boston's second Big Three and the Lakers getting MJ Gasol to lead Kobe Pippen along with bringing in Meta Kukoc.
Players saw Malone, Ewing, Barkley, Stockton others being relegated for not ringing and they decided they needed insurance policies against that. Rings are turning beggers like Klaynus, Donkey, Wardell, Beta into basketball royalty while other players like Harden, Paul, Westbrook, others are on their way to irrelevance.
