It’s going to make money and no matter what the reviews will be amazing bc it’s so “revolutionary.” But damn I love James Bond movies. He was just so cool. Good looking girls, best car ever, awesome gadgets, and the only guy in the movie who knew how to properly aim

I don't see a problem with anyone whosoever playing a fictional character.
Nah it isn’t James Bond so to me it kills the franchise. And tbh I feel like Hollywood is sending the wrong message to people. I’m all for womanhood and including minorities tbh. But this is literally the opposite of that (in my mind and you can of course disagree). To me, the message is they only believe in a film starring women if the foundation has been already been laid out by men. I feel like real women empowerment comes more from movies like Atomic Blonde rather getting Sandra Bullock to play George Clooney’s sister.
Normally I agree with that. But this is THE SPY. There’s a million spy novels/movies out there, but there is only one James Bond. ing do a remake of Get Smart or some ty spy and have them be a woman. Leave the ICON of the genre alone.

This morons should just cast her as an agent and make a movie with her that is not called James Bond. It's not that hard to do it, but it sucks cause the movie wouldn't make money if it wasn't connected to a big franchise name. It will still probably make little money and everyone will be called a sexist and a racist. Just look at the female Ghostbusters. Thats how it is now.

Early talk of the script has him passing the 007 handle to her.
Again, I don't see a problem with it. It doesn't detract from the novel or the other movies. There has been at least one ty Bond.
