I think Forbes and Beli have value. They are known "shooters" in the league and I recognize that shooters in the league have value, especially on expiring deals. I 'd be fine with having them on the team if the Spurs weren't absolutely loaded at the guard position with guys that I think are much, much better than them in DJ, White, and Lonnie. I'd be fine with them on the roster if they were treated like 7th or 8th guys in a rotation by their coach but I don't have much faith in that either.
No, that package isn't bringing back James Harden. But bringing back a solid rotational piece that is a much better fit on the roster and doesn't take away minutes from the key young guys? Is that really out of the question? smh...

I believe Miami is already over the cap (if I’m not mistaken), and to absorb CP3 would need to shed some. On the other hand, Spurs also need to send Beli to clear salary plus whatever pick(s). Just saying opportunities that PATFO should check.
