Haven't seen a Hardee's in Texas in over 5 years.
Five Guys
not sure if i can eat those anymore due to cross contamination but those were my hands down favorite fries especially when dipped in their bbq sauce.
So you're that guy
Yeah only way I can stand ketchup is if it has so much pepper in it that it's purple.
Didn't they just become Carl's Jr. locations? Breakfast joints are pretty much sealed up all over TX with Jims being the local alternative to your Ihops, etc. and squeeze out fast food joints heavily focused on breakfast like Hardees did/used to (not sure as I haven't been to one since 08).
As an aside, one of the best things for potatoes is an Air Fryer. Those things are worth their money. I've made in there I wasn't expecting to be half decent (fried fish, fried chicken) and they were AMAZING. But nothing beats putting steak fries, or however you cut your spuds, in that ho. A little olive oil and garlic salt, 15 mins later you got some delish fries to go with heavily peppered ketchup, a little ranch and you're set.
You can just mix regular Heinz/Hunts ketchup with Louisiana hot sauce and you're good there
Yep, after a few seconds of googling all the Hardee's in Texas became Carl's Junior from 2012-2015.
Bend over, I'll give ya some in' In N Out.
Not fast food... but I can eat several baskets Red Robin's fries dipped in their campfire sauce (just mayo mixed with bbq sauce I believe). I'm also fond of Freddy's shoestring fries, they have a similar dipping sauce as well. I can't stand ketchup.
Leon Springs BBQ - "The Original Rudy's" had some damn good fries.
Five Guys fries are terrible. The potato in those just tastes funky.
Have you tried it more than once? Cos I didn't like it the first time or two; now it's pretty high on my list.
Famous Dave's pretty good if we're going BBQ places.
I remember there being some really subtle but funky, bad aftertaste in the potatoes themselves, nothing wrong with the frying or the seasoning. Like they blend some summer crab grass weeds, volunteer tree leaves and roundup or something in with the potato mix. Also, the hamburger was mediocre, the beef was really mealy and falling apart.
Would not recommend that chain at all.
Only thing I can say about fries is you can't warm them back up.
Still working on it yo

Millions and millions of unearned dollars later. By the time you get this done, there will be a newer technology to do it better.
It's like introducing tortilla chips to someone who already has Takis.
