Djoker vs Carlito for Gold on Sunday morning 6am EST.
Cant wait and seems fittin',,,the old goat facing the new goat for the gold just like they did in the last major,,,,again, I would love to see Novak win another Australian Open and ride off into the sunset because, barring injury, its Alcaraz time to take over tennis,,,,Alcaraz is gonna be in' amazin' when he hits his prime and we will all witness it,,,,,

    WHAT A ING GOAT

Unbelievable match, rare to see Carlos a bit rattled but even then he pushed Novak to the brink. Absolutely incredible stuff. The future belongs to Carlos but god damn Djokovic just improving his elite resume is unreal.

of a match,,,,,glad Novak added the only thing his career was lacking,,,,a gold medal. He has no more worlds to conquer,,,,he's done it all. Alcaraz has to just continue to learn and grow from these defeats,,,,he'll get his soon enough,,,,,

    Smarter more strategic player won.

Look at the serves. Djokovic serves to spots. Mixes it up.
Alcaraz just slugs it most of the time. And thats just one part of the strategy Joker uses.

And one can say, "Im going to serve to a spot on a particular point", but actually executing the serve with pace was superb by DJokovic.
Now Its really a great athlete who has all the shots against a guy who knows his capabilities and uses them to fit the moment.
Wimbledon was a blowout imo because Joker was not primed (easy rounds up to the final) and injured. He started to get into the match way too late and I dont think he was moving well enough to even win anyway on grass. The slower clay courts allowed for strategy to work and Joker looked much quicker to the ball as well.

I should also add that Djokovic is LONG and uses his length superbly as he does not have the speed of Alcaraz.

Love that we're under way at the US Open,,,,,so I'm a huge Alcaraz fan,,,and here's something he could accomplish and amazingly at the age of 21,,,,and Federer and Novak never did in their career,,,,if this kid wins this tournament,,,,the sky isnt even the limit,,,,he goes beyond that,,,,

Carlos Alcaraz could become only the third man after Rod Laver and Rafael Nadal to achieve unique Grand Slam feat (msn.com)

Yeah,,,,I wont watch much of the tourney now with Alcaraz and Novak out of it,,,,,seriously, wtf happened with these two? Did the olympics take to much outta them?,,,,,Should be an easy win for Sinner now,,,,if he cant win this tourney with Alcaraz and Novak out of it, then he's a in' joke,,,,,

too many errors from Alcaraz and might be the worst serving performance from Novak I have ever seen. Maybe they both needed a break. Did not have that on my bingo card at all.

If Sinner doesn't win it then oof, he may need to have a long hard think
