Texas AG Silent as Threats to Shoot Immigrants Pile Up in His Office
In the past 18 months, one man, Ralph Pulliam, has sent the Texas State Attorney General, Republican Ken Paxton,
more than 100 pages of complaints about perceived violations of the state’s sanctuary cities laws.
The complaints include all-caps threats against immigrants. His emails said,
“It will be a bloodbath.”
That he might be forced to “shoot” a “wet back monkey.”
And asked the AG, “Do you get the point!!!!????”
The AG responded by — doing nothing.
The attorney general’s office never forwarded any of the messages to the San Antonio Police Department, [Police Sgt.] Ramos said.
officers responding to 911 calls — many made by Pulliam — have been sent to his house at least 35 times, but he never has been arrested.
“He’ll take it right up to the line,” Sgt. Mic e Ramos said, “but doesn’t commit the crime.”
