They are showing a Spurs/GS game right now. According to my DISH TV Guide, they will be showing one Spurs game after another up to 9 pm. Some recent ones, some classics.
knowing them, they will probably be showin 6, .4, and game 7 2006
And just in time for Tha Admiral's birthday today, they have the following game on Spurs Team Day:
1230-1430: PHX @ SAS, WC, Rd One, Game 2, from 1996 (Tha Admiral scores 41 points along with a triple double effort!).
GSG, & Happy Birthday, Five-O!!!
That explains it—-it’s a homage to David on his birthday. Very classy.
Thanks for the heads up. Definitely gonna record some of these classics for a rainy day....
Only two and a half months until regular season starts........

This is interesting. I’m watching a game from 2003 and Pop has less hair, 16 years ago, than he does in 2019.
They keep replaying that meaningless regular season GS game. Someone should do a poll -- is Mark Jackson a worse coach or broadcaster. (If broadcaster wins, and only if, Jackson should advance to the Matt Bonner round.)
Some observations from Tim Duncan's first playoff game...
- The Spurs started 3 bigs with Tim, Dave, and Purdue
- Avery Johnson started the game on fire (5-6 FG in the 1st quarter)
- Duncan was guarding Jason Kidd some in the 1st quarter
- Jason Kidd and Steve Nash were teammates and both on the floor together at one point
- Kidd played all 48 minutes, while Nash played only 4 minutes
