Odd series
Blue Jays were far stronger team on paper with HOFs all over the field. Ended up +9 run differential in the series. Yet the Phillies were 3 outs away from forcing Game 7.
From 1988 to 2000, the Phillies only won 80+ games once. And it was this team. A very experienced team that fell off the cliff with age within 2 seasons.
Young Braves. When they were in trouble...Justice stepped up. 1995 Game 6 and here Braves down 0-2 against the Twins
young Adam Wainwright closing it out
"Walt Weiss play"
Braves playoff magic
Chris Sabo looks even dorkier without the goggles.
It's a shame that the Padres didn't stay hot and bury the Yankees.
